  1. just to update the current situation, and hopefully show a few of you newcomers that all is not lost, I started out with a whole heap of trouble and have to admit, I thought we had titanic written all over us, but thanks to info from this site , we're getting there. I started out in a panic and thought they would come take my stuff etc , ruin my life etc, well news flash people, they cant, so take control of your money back with help from this site. Anyhoo, story so far :- Cash Genie - paid Payday Express Paid Peachy loans - paid Open door loan - monthly plan Quidmarket - Monthly plan Txt Loan - Monthly plan 1 Month loan - Monthly plan wonga - Monthly plan Wage day advance _monthly pan Payday UK -Monthly plan now the baddies Quick quid - under negotiation, getting nearer 247 moneybox - took money early and don't want to answer emails. Swift Sterling - wont budge an inch Cap Fin One - what can 1 man say about these people that hasn't been said already? A waste of a file at companies house. These have to take the award as lowest of the lowlife, they have no idea how to run a loan co and a complete lack of interpersonal skills, I tend to envisage a trip to their office being a bit like a trip to a run down zoo, grumpy underfed animals in rundown cages with no idea why they're there. (it helps me anyway )
  2. Payday uk should be ok, I found them quite helpful, Not getting far with 247 though. still in two minds wether can report them to police for taking money early, bit of a can of worms me thinks. All others playing ball except CFO, Swift and quickquid are still coming up with offers too large. 3. I have cash genie's bank details if you need them, but they will give them to you without problem if you ask.
  4. Sillygirl1 but can I report the early transaction to the police for a crime number, doubt if I can for the two they got after the date?
  5. Thanks a:)£0, will give em another try, although still debating on wether I can report them(police as the bank will do nothing) for taking money out of my account, they say they can take it and I have to admit, they are owed, but I emailed them beforehand stating the situation and not to take any and they took some a day before the agreed date. will give Dclipsmith a bell. How you coping with yours asmile ?
  6. I'll take that as a no then, very puzzling, especially as when I rang it, just office sounds then nothing.
  7. If you arrange it with them, they usually start it a month later
  8. wonga will give you their details to pay by SO or transfer, they should freeze interest etc too. no need to give them any bank card details.
  9. keep track of what you pay, when you have paid back what you owe, stop the payments, write to them telling them you are not paying anymore as you have paid what was owed, if they want to take you to court, you can defend saying you have paid back the original sum etc. I think that's the case, but silly girl may know a bit more about the ins and outs of that. Not sure how you stand by agreeing to a plan either , wether that affects things or not, also, some people don't mind paying a small amount extra for the hassle free extended term so to speak, but I think that's down to personal pref, sticking strictly to policy, it's original loan+1 month, no more.
  10. Has anyone else had this, I recieved a text from this guy, "I've just helped a customer start payment plan of £19/week. His 247Moneybox.com balance is FROZEN AND NO MORE CALLS. Can I help you? Dan ClipperSmith 01444 300132" Has anyone else had this? I haven't had a call off them anyway, since I sent them proof that they did indeed take money from my account a day before it was due out. as well as 2 smaller amounts later. They said they hadn't took any early, so I told him would send the proof and wait for his call to apologise , am still waiting. Gutless wonders, very brave on the phone moaning at you to pay your account, but point out where they went wrong and even if you owe them, they wont call back. sorry, went into a rant, yes I still owe them, emailed them well before due date to say I couldnt pay, they took what they could( whatever A&L would give them. ) despite there being no money in the account and the cards being stopped. Despite them getting £133.83, I still somehow owe them more than I did when I Defaulted, less than 3 weeks ago. Anyway, point is has anyone else had this text?
  11. Also if things go wrong, they will be no help at all, they will insist on full payment or nothing, and their CRS attack dogs are apparently under the same orders.
  12. the email for wongas boss is on this site, check other threads,(off to work soon, cant search for you ) if you email them, they will help. QQ are the same, if you email them, your loan isn't so big, so they should help. Cash Genie, some say they are bad, I had no trouble with them, I split mine over 2 months with no extra charges. Mini credit are bad, try to offer them a plan. cancel your bank card, get another account (halifax do a good basic acc) If you can concentrate on one whillst making smaller payments on the others, some prefer that method, or pay them all a bit at a time. most important is to know your not on your own, not a criminal and don't et them bully you, only offer what you can afford. No doubt someone from the siteteam will be along with more advise later. Good luck.
  13. I used the arguement that their charges were unfair and that if I paid them, I would only end up taking them to court to get them back , they caved in and made me an offer as a goodwill gesture , reducing it to less than I offered them, took a few back and forths first though, show them that you are being fair and they will have to be or risk losing any hope they would have in court.
  14. unfortunately , you have got the pick of a bad bunch, minicredit and QQ are renowned for not helping with plans or bank details. CFO what can you say, words fail me, nothing I could come up with could ever do them justice. 247 are not far behind, they will help a little , but not much and will take what they can from wherever they can whenever they can. So not much consolation, but it does sound like they are following their normal course, it's a rough ride at times, but stick to your guns and eventually they will get sorted out the way you want to sort them out. If you are only receiving benefits, they can only have so much anyway. Also, see the advise regarding using your own name(i assume it's yours) as a user name. GL
  15. usually once you prove them wrong they suddenly forget your number, I told a guy at 247 that I would send him proof that they took money a day early, then await his phone call to say sorry, haven't heard from them since. Cap finance -1 have finally sent me a letter, telling me that despite their attempts to contact me the matter is unresolved, this despite me having plenty of emails from them telling me no they don't want instalments and they will ring me at work, like it or not(they havent since I sent harrasment letter though). They are an absolute joke, breach the guidelines so many times. Reporting them is the minimum you should do, 0paying that much on a £270 loan you should look into if you can claim any of it back off them. He is just stalling you, although he may want the account number etc to verify it is your account etc. Or just trying to make you think your doing well if they say it's enough now, when in fact, they have probably taken too much from you.
  16. they respond quite well, you can paste the whole conversation into a word doc if you want to keep proof.
  17. Month End Money Ltd. Account Number: 39524906 Sort Code: 60-00-01 your Loan Agreement number & surname is the ref are the ones I was given, I would check with them which ones to use payday uk are MEM It did say for cash payment use, he mention natwest counter, but he knew i was paying by SO, I paid the first by fast transfer and received an acknowledgement from them that they had it.
  18. have an arrangement for 7 months, so 1 month more than the original amount, only just started it though, they tried to ad 150 all in all. will let you know which payment I stop on. I thought they were reasonable to be honest.
  19. I had £300 + 51 interest, they took a £60 a month offer, tried to add charges, but argued those and got rid of most.
  20. they took 93, 20 and 20, the 93 was a day early, I borrowed 265, they now say still over 300 , told him he was having a laugh but would make arrangement to pay the rest of what i actually owe. waiting for him to ring today after he sees the proof they took it early .
  21. sillygirl1, does the same apply if a company take money early?
  22. 247 wont answer emails, I asked why not, they said wrong dept, you couldn't make it up, they tried to tell me they took money out on the 5th as agreed, yet I was staring at the screen of my bank saying the 4th, told the guy will send him a screen shot and expect his call in the morning to apologies, any takers on if he'll ring or not?
  23. Quick quid are the same, bank details are rarer than the proverbial rocking horse stuff . I had same problem, even came to an arrangement, cant pay it though, they wont say how, other than giving them my details. Are mini credit and QQ related by any chance?
  24. it will be on the aggreement or email they sent when you took it out.
  25. they offered to set one up for me, but only if I provided them with new bank card no.s , that didn't happen, especially after I found out they raided my account anyway, and a day before the due date at that, despite 6 emails to them, all unanswered. they are crap on the phone too, will only talk if you give them card details. They say my account is now more than it was 7 days ago, despite havin taking £133.83 out , I only borrowed £265 in the first place, I have spoken to CD about them, they have said to ring the FOS and complain, so that's next.
