Off sick since january with stress/anxiety/depression, my SSP runs out in august as it is only paid for 28 weeks. Before i was off sick i had issues with a member of management and felt bullied, intimidated etc, i never put in a grievance as felt it would be ignored as all management support each other. My sick is not due to this but i feel it impossible to return as my condition will not be helped with the managers behaviour there. Really want/need a fresh start, if i hand in my notice while off sick would i still be entitled to all the help i would otherwise get? i.e. i need to now claim for ESA and am getting help with rent and council tax - will i still be entitled to this help while i find a new job? Your advise would be very much appreciated Also, does anyone know how long a ESA claim takes from putting it in to getting an answer? Thank you

We have accumulated a £3000 debt with npower due to a dispute. I have approx £10000 debt with banks etc Hubby is self employed and has no debts other than taxman Been to CAB and one lady said i should do DRO and it would resolve npower debt and all my debts. Another lady says we should both do a DRO and it will clear the taxman too - surely not! Lady number 1 said he has to pay his tax regardless of DRO hence no point hubby doing it too!! Confused!

I have demoted myself from supervisor to normal assistant! The other admin staff all work different hours, i was the only 39 hour person in supervisor position

Currently on long term sick (since january) I am admin enhanced supervisor. Made the decision to step down so they can fill my position while i am off and when i return i will just be an admin assistant. Receive a letter today stating the max i will be allowed to work is 25 hours, (i used to work 39) - can they do this?

Considering taking up home study, if i decided to do this full time (and leave my job) so i can then look for a job in a different sector once course completed would we still get housing benefits etc

I have written to my store and head office and sent recorded so will await their response! No reason they could not have left voicemail as it was on and has been since that day and they have not called! I will write again and refer to earlier call and ask again for copy policies! Someone thinks they are going to try constructive dismissal with me!

She just didnt want to listen to anything I said and like i say just called me a liar in regards this telephone appt that i did not answer!! They arent missing me, thy just did not ring when they said they would! rang head office today and they will not send a full sickness/grievance procedure, only the staff handbook!

Now had phonecall from occ health saying i have missed another appointment (news to me) and that she did ring on the arranged day and i did not answer and has basically called me a liar!!! Help

Thats a great bit of advice and I think i may just do that!

My letter was hand delivered and had a copy of their letter stating i had a telephone appointment! So i gave them that straight away and also rang head office so i have made the effort! I know that i am just waiting for personel to come back off her holiday, good company practice eh!!

I have been off sick since January I saw Occupational health nurse & personnel manager at my home in March. I got another letter in early may stating they wanted another occ health appt, i called head office and requested a home visit with the occ health nurse only (we are allowed to request this!), she did not turn up. I then received a letter to state i had a booking for a telephone appt with occ health, they did not ring me. I then receive a letter from work stating I have missed 2 appointments, the matter is serious and I am putting them in a very difficult position. I sent work the copy letter confirming my telephone appointment and also explained that I had not missed 2 appointments. That was last friday (18th) and I have heard nothing but i believe the personnel manager has been on holiday this week! Aaaaargh, what do I do!!

Hi I am full time employed but am wanting to set up a business selling handmade items to do as well as being employed. In basic term what do i do....register my business?with who? what do i do for tax purposes etc? can i do this? Thank you

Are the occupational health people employees of morrisons, i dont even know how to find a contact number/email without going through my work. Im off for very personal reasons and do not want to speak with work at the moment

It's a long, long story. His then girlfriend had something to do with this!!! Point is though, he went to court, had to do comm service had no more communication until now, 15 years later!
