So....for example, I'm looking at swizells love hearts and polo mints - i buy them in bulk, i leave the foils on, add my own paper wrapper with for instance names and date of a wedding but aslong as I advertise as 'love hearts' and 'polos' - that's ok? Obviously i can't rename the product as 'personalised candy buttons' or 'sarahs amazing mints' lol!! Aslong as customers know the brand then all is good?! Thanks guys, appreciated very much

It is for business, and they are available wholesale, i would advertise as the brand they actually are but just personalised. Not unpackaging them, still in original foils, just with a paper personalised wrapper around (ie over the original brand wrapper) - very confusing to say the least! Totally with the character etc copyright but confused with the sweets side of things

Can anyone tell me - as google is getting my head in a spin! Can i purchase branded sweets and place a personalised wrapper on them to sell? Hundreds of companies sell them but is it ok?

So it's totally legal for them to come to my home and threaten to lock me up but it's totally illegal for me to actually speak!! Great!!

Just paid the amount we are behind today. ...i am outraged at the way they can threaten court and imprisonment, thinking of sueing them myself for distress to me and my family, it really is horrendous they think they can have this power over people, disgusted! Plenty of emails sent but whilst they cause stress to me over the weekend they arent at work so hope to hear back from them tomorrow!!

A legal way of not paying for watching tv??!! It is appalling they can inflict such power for the sake of £37 per quarter when we watch about 3 hours of tv in total per week!!

Is that or is that not a bit crazy considering defaulting on any payments means i clearly have no money so how would i afford a fine!!! I have emailed the court and the debt people and citizens advice to rant at them! Unnaceptable to send me a summons 4 months after a visit

We had a licence but missed several payments so they cancel it i guess and you start again....that day the man set up a new direct debit for us and we have a licence from that day most definitely

No idea, this was 4 months ago, i thought it was sorted now! Assume my last missed payment has triggered the summons! :/

Since he visited we have paid 2 payments and missed 1. Before that we were struggling financially and had a payment card but got behind.

But i obviously didnt have a licence that day hence them setting up new DD....so not sure if i should be pleading guilty and wether this summons is just because i missed last months payment, it would help if they were a little clearer, no wonder people get stressed out with them!

So can i plead not guilty via post and just write all the details in there, whats the outcome likely to be in any case, the £120 fine? Really confused by it all to be honest!

The court will hear the case on 17.3.15 at 11am at xxxx court Warning : If you do not reply to this summons nor attend the hearing the court may find you guilty in your absence and can sentence you. Offences : On 29.10.14 used a colour tv received without licence. Costs: If you are convicted of this offence an application will be made for costs of no less than £120 Then i can either plead guilty in court, by post or not guilty.

So if i pay the £37.62 that i owe from last month in the next few days do you think it will be ok? How do i reply to the summons?

Yes...however it's a little late for this now! Will the summons be because i have defaulted on this months payment? It really makes no sense! Not sure what they want me to do?!

In october 2014 i had a visit from Capita saying i had no tv licence, payments had bounced etc so he went through a form with me and i had to sign this detailing what tv etc i had. He took my bank details and we set up a new direct debit quarterley. 2 payments have already gone out. However this months has bounced but i hope to rectify that soon. Yesterday i receive a summons stating i had nn licence when the officer visited in october and i have to go to court. So confsued as to what i owe, why i owe it and what i do not??!!

Hi I currently have a car which i use for personal and business use, this is my only vehicle. I am replacing this car with a sign written business van, again i will also be using it for personal use. I am borrowing the money for the van. Can you tell me how i put this through the books, do i put the loan through and the cost of the vehicle or not? Do i still work purely on the mileage allowance of 45p per mile that i use for business? Appreciated, thanks

Hoping someone can help! Expecting a parcel delivery and was out today, got home to find note through door from courier stating 'item at back door' How is this possible when there is a 5 foot double bolted gate stopping anyone getting to the rear of our home. Went to investigate and they have forced entry. The gates were put in place a few weeks ago after moving here to stop our dog getting out and to also stop people coming round the back of our house!! They are nothing fancy but good enough for what we required. Now surely, fair enough the courier tries the latch and cannot gain entry but to clearly see the bolts, bend the gate and force open the bolts is a criminal offence, unlawful entry/criminal damage etc surely!! The gate is now bent and difficult to shut and bolt/latch etc. So , so annoyed.....are they allowed to do this?? Good job there wasnt a dog in the back garden, assume if there was and it had taken the couriers leg off then they would sue us right??? Any help appreciated! x

The estate agents have confirmed there is no inventory, but the landlord states he does not have one but the estate agents do! Also, the estate agents have given us the photos that were taken - we are not happy as they were taken without our knowledge after we moved in......even of inside the fridge/cooker with our food in....yet the landlord states they were just left here and it is an unfurnished letting. all the pictures show is each room with our furniture in. So what can we do to ensure the house is how we found it as there is no inventory?!! And should they have been allowed to take photos of our home and belongings without us knowing?!
