you are of course willing to pay the "actual" cost incurred by citi, if they say it is £12 let them prove it in court dont think a defence of we need to fleece the "poor" to give the rich free banking will wash either, citi also dont provide free banking only credit cards AFAIK -
i would and am persuing the rest after accepting the offer as partial payment only amended the LBA template to reflect accordingly

you as an individual get preference for court location as opposed to them as a corporation, theres a thread somewhere detailing why this is the case personally i would accept as part payment only and persue the rest -

hmm you are not claiming much off them in charges, have they defaulted you on the outstanding amount? what sort of repayment schedule would they be willing to accept? or can you clear the balance regardless, if so they have no hold over you wrt counterclaims

try the CCA 1974 approach for the default its mentioned in several places i believe, only costs a pound too
