OVER THE LAST YEAR... Lloyds TSB has put 5 late charges on my credit file for a bank account I closed LAST YEAR! Rock on Lloyds... Over the last year Lloyds took 6 months to answer one complaint they should have dealt with in 8 weeks. Over the last year Lloyds have failed to give the Financial Ombudsman any explanation as to why they have put late charges on a closed bank account! Honestly guys, the worst bank in the U.K

Why would you want to edit it???? Take out the bits you don't like and make some stuff up and provide it to the media, or just remove your personal details?

robjam, why not just call the company be honest and ask for help? Does this not work?

Where ever the last letter from BOS came from, it """may be""" worth a try, filling out a statement of means and faxing it/emailing it to them with a little letter saying.... "All I can afford is £x, with or without a CCJ the best you can get is what I have, you can't get blood outta a stone. I want to repay this debt, I want to do the best I can do but this is all I can afford. Maybe send it recorded delivery too. I'm not sure if a court would be happy if they ignored this "reasonable" offer as a court is supposed to be the last resort when all else has been exhausted! I'm not legally trained and good luck.
