  1. If you don't send the £10 they are under no obligation to supply any information under Data Protection Act. Barclays will no doubt return your cheque, don't know about the woolwhich
  2. alex Even if you had requested judgement it would have been rejected. Barclays seem able to get in late plus MCOL is not the quickest at updating.
  3. Send everything recorded. That way you can prove when they recieved it.
  4. Cosmic Have you got your statements yet?
  5. Hi moggieb Yes my claim is for a Crap1 credit card. Will hopefully be filing N1 next week
  6. Who is Christopher Day? Do you have a contact number. I wonder if he is in the same department as Robert Jones. He told me 12 years max (pre 98 on microfiche)
  7. Hazy Spreadsheet 4 would show totals TOTAL PENALTIES AND BANK INTEREST ON PENALTIES TOTAL INTEREST TOTAL CLAIM:
  8. You can change it up to the point you file N1. If you need to change it after N1 it will cost you £35 which is non recoverable
  9. Try contacting MCOL first before you request judgement. Just to make sure you are not jumping the gun
  10. They will want to settle in full. They won't want to go to court. Yes name case number amount and uptodate soc
  11. Hi J Below is link to court bundle. Have a read through the FAQ section and read as many threads as you can to familiarise yourself with the process. Good luck. Keep us posted http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/33060-basic-court-bundle.html
  12. The only way you can be sure to get what you want is to submit a formal SAR. There is a statutory maximum fee of £10. Simply calling them does not oblidge them to conform to the request.
  13. Barclays Litigation team... see link below, all the contact details are there. As your court date is so close i am sure they will want to settle. My advice is to email Dino.. look for his details in the thread http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclays-bank/94602-barclays-litigation-team-good.html
  14. Ok This is the first time you have mentioned contractual interest. Be warned BARCLAYS WILL DEFEND IT. And you should have added it to both your Prelim and LBA letters If you have used the spreadsheets from this site the amount of interest they have charged you on the penalty charges will be worked out automatically (assuming you have followed the instructions on the spreadsheet correctly). This is regardless of the O/D limit or interest rate. It is purely a percentage of the total interest charged
  15. Easiest way is to book mark it into your favaourites as you would do with any other web page
  16. Hi Saffron The legislation you are reffering to there deals with the issue of "fit and proper person" with regards to a credit license. I believe This would only be used if you made your complaint via the OFT. See the post below http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/92-3-letter-before-action.html#post26286
  17. keep us posted... any questions ,just ask
  18. Hi Topcat Take a look in the rejection letters section. Link Below http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/25716-rejecting-offers.html If you reject the offer barclays will withdraw it and force you to start court procedings, even if you say you will accept it as partial settlement.
  19. Have you started your journey yet?
  20. hI b3th I assume this is barclaycard not barclays bank. The £12 referred to by the OFT is the point that they would step in at and challenge the fees. The fact that they have reduced their fees to £12 does not make them "lawful" or indeed transparent. I have a claim with cap1 and have included all the £12 charges. It is up to them to prove that the fees are just and represent a true cost and / or loss
  21. Please Keep To 1 Thread
  22. Hi conrad welcome to the mad world of barclays... any problems just ask, there is a wealth of knowledge on here. If you gonna help your dad may i suggest you also start a thread in the Halifax forum, priciples of the claim will be the same for both but each forum is taylored to specific banks.... good luck
