  1. No not yet. I want to spend this week reading the site, and getting material ready next week. I work away from home a lot sop i probably will start sending a letter w/c 23rd July. im in no hurry and im a patient guy, ill need it by the sound of it. Thanks for asking, i may need some help.
  2. Hi all, I joined today and am staggered at the content, stories etc. Hope to learn a lot by reading the threads listed here before i start. Ive read the FAQ and some other items in Lloyds grabbed my interest...unbelievable. What a great resource. Good luck all TrueBlueExile
  3. Thanks Barclays and Halifax, ive joined the members group for these two
  4. Hello, I have joined today and will be making claims against 2 banks whom i have accounts with. I will also look at trying to claim against a bank i no longer have an account with if its possible. However i will take my time and not steam in to all 3 at once. This site is amazing and i am taking my time to read threads (some horror stories) which help me to avoid some of the apprent pitfalls and some heartening stories that give confidence (Is it me or is the FAQ's a bit of a 'Holy Grail' to find?? ). My cousin called me yesterday to say he filed in CC and got £8000 + interest and he has booked a Cuban holiday to celebrate. He recommended the site and Im going to call him tomite to ask him if he is donating anything to the site or if he will be one of the other tight*rse* who take the money and run, thats quite disturbing to read. 5% SOUNDS REASONABLE TO ME BUT AS YOU WILL ACCEPT ANYTHING ITS A BIT RUM THAT NOONE COUGHS UP. I didnt know i could get anything so if i do its a bonus and ill commit now in public to donating 5% of anything i get. It seems some folk like to take charity but not so cute on offering it. Thanks for the site and hopefully i come out another winner. Trueblueexile
  5. My God Kazzie, i am the lucky one. I am new today and picked up your thread out of interest. You have really got yourself in a pickle but we can all learn from your mistake, credit to you for being open about it. Although i don't owe anyone any money i am glad you posted your situation and i am taking my time going thro the site before i attack barclays and halifax. Good luck and hope things come off for you.
