I have a Cap credit card. They show interest as "Purchase" and "cash" im guessing that merchandise is the same as purchase. If you look at your T&C's you will possibly find they charge different rates, thats why they seperate them. Are you claiming CCI?
-
This may be a silly question. Is the account in question stil "live" if not have you moved house at all since it was closed?

Whatever you decide Hewst you will have the backing of us all here on CAG....Good Luck

Could you not apply for B's defence to be struck out. It was 28 days + 7. Surely this alone is an abuse of process. Its about time the courts stood up and invoked the rules of the legal system. It's very much a case of the tail wagging the dog in my humble opinion. I for one am getting extremely P**sed off with the arrogant attitude that Barclay's show to both there customers and the legal system. Its about time the Courts hit back and insist they play by the rules. Sorry for the outburst but like tony im hopping mad

Woodentop's baby v Barclays - WON
Trucker replied to woodentop's topic in Barclays, BCard and Woolwich successes
Nice one..well done -
Having not been in this situation i can only offer limited advice You can fill in the N244 form on the PDF sheet but are not able to save it, so print off at least 3 copies. Yes use as MB's post Then i presume a new N1 form with the new POC's, again print off at least 3 copies. The Abbey ones look great, obviously ammend to suit your own case. give it to court and bobs your uncle. Hope this now puts your mind at ease. I know it will have cost you an extra £35 but its best to get it right. Please correct me if any info is wrong

It will take at least 2 weeks to be transferred to your local court, then a case of how long is a piece of string before you get a date

Trucker v Barclays **WON**
Trucker replied to Trucker's topic in Barclays, BCard and Woolwich successes
Hi All Acceptance letter returned on 14th. Their cover letter said payment will be made within 10 working days of receipt of acceptance. I wonder how long they will take? I can guess...lol Trucker -
lol...yep... but won't it cost £35 to change poc's?
-
Point taken... we must be careful... i put a comment on another thread that the POC's that are causing probs are from the other site
-
Come on Daz you know it word for word..... Especially as the SOC's are being sent
-
Don't get trigger happy when 14 days is up... come back and ask the question before you hit the judgement button
-
It would be helpful if you could post up here the first 3 points of B's defence Trucker

I get the feeling that the original POC that you used was from Martin Lewis's site. By the looks of it you have not included your account number on POC, which from reading other threads could be a problem. You may still need to amend. Thoughts please saintly!! All the POC probs seem to have originated with the other site when filed via MCOL

gregob Please stick to 1 thread, don't start a new 1 everytime you have a question as it becomes confusing trying to keep up with your progress

Roxy You should get B's defence any day now. Transfer usually takes a few weeks and the court date really depends on your local court, their workload etc. SOC = Schedule of Charges. Have a look at this thread for T&C's http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/101412-document-library-work-progress.html#post956704
-
You don't need to do anything at mo roxy. You should recieve a copy of Barclays defence together with a notice of transfer. When you get the defence please post up the first 3 points as i guess that they will ask for SOC

I think Dino is away until the 23rd July. I think you should contact other members of the Team bigem.

If you can get into the Branch do so and speak to the person that took the cheque from you. You may also be interested in this that states personal accounts can draw up to £1000 against uncleared cheques Ask Barclays a question
