Outcome of today's hospital appointment
kennythecelt replied to a topic in The Bear Garden – for off-topic chat
Hi again I have heard it can be quite unpleasant but is a standard procedure. Unfortunately I don't know if done on day or in patient basis. Things seem to be moving in the right direction for you though, which is good with all the medical assistance being given and planned. I have heard some very positive feedback from Caggers who have visited the Health Forum and thought that might be a handy source of information for you. You should be able to find some more answers in that forum. I am providing a link for you in case you are interested. Give Up Smoking Support Group - Consumer Health Forums I hope this is helpful and hope that your health takes a turn for the better very soon. (please ignore reference to smoking in that link, the title has not beeen updated but it takes you there just the same) -

Hi Mogwai and a very warm welcome to CAG. With a user name like that, please stay out of the rain, as gremlins are a different story! So glad you like the site and very pleased you have joined as a user. We would welcome your valued contribution. Here is a link to the residential and lettings forum, where you can read through some of the posts. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/residential-commercial-lettings/ When you get the time, please read the following which will be helpful http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/forum-rules-please-read/ Best of luck and welcome aboard. -
Congratulations to all A Level students!
kennythecelt replied to yourbank's topic in The Bear Garden – for off-topic chat
I'll second that. Congratulations to the A level students and those in Scotland who got their results last week. Us oldies should also ponder if life pressures on young adults today are greater than they were in the past. My personal view is that perhaps they are, and I say that as a proud dad and someone who works in the voluntary sector with young people. -
Here is the link again, in case you did not see it, as reported to the site team. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/25457-guide-reclaiming-bank-charges.html

Hi and a very warm welcome to CAG. You have had a tough time but you are in a community where these types of problem have been encountered and resolved. You will get all the advice you need here to help you on the way to resolving these issues. Unfortunately, you have posted in the Bear Forum, which is an off topic discussion area where folk unwind. It would be better for you if I moved your post to the debt forum. I take it that is OK with you.

Hi Howl:) As saintly says, welcome to CAG, please take the time to follow her advice and look at the links provided. Don't worry, we all started here sometime and we have all had different issues to face- you will be fine here. I have merged your 2 intro posts so that it is easier for you. To help us further, with the aim of helping you, can you tell us a bit more about the loan and why you are wanting to revisit it please. We will help as much as we can. Good luck.

Jendoc I am sorry to hear about what happened at your close relatives funeral as are the rest of the site team at CAG. This must have made an emotionally traumatic time even more disturbing for everyone there. So I can sympathise entirely with what happened and appreciate that those memories will stay with everyone for a long, long time. It is not something that I would like to witness myself. I think that, with one obvious exception, everyone here that has posted on your thread at CAG, has gathered round to offer support to you and then to offer advice on what you could possibly do. I also elieve that people should think before they post and that if they have nothing constructive to add to the thread that they should not post. The great thing about CAG, because we are a part of a community, with a common bond, people generally do their best to help others. Unfortunately, on occassion, someone does not. There are sometimes possible exceptions to this however. I am reffering to the following comment: The comment certainly comes across as insensitive and more thought should have gone into how it would be perceived. As in life, we need to choose the people we relate to and whose comments we value. In this case, please believe me when I say that all posters here are upset that someone could post such a comment. Please disregard it if you can and concentrate on the fact that everyone else in CAG is really sorry about the situation you experienced. May I wish you and your family my best wishes for the future at this very difficult time. I hope that one of the constructive suggestions above, provides the solution you are seeking.

Lapsed insurance policy - help
kennythecelt replied to louw's topic in Welcome to the Consumer Forums
Hello louw A very warm welcome to CAG. We hope you enjoy your time here. Can you please give the exact name of the company as there are a few "United's". There have been take overs in this sector so that is important as is the type of policy. It may also have a bearing if it is a friendly society. Keep the pass book safe in the meantime as this may be traceable, don't bin it. Once we know the exact name we will be in a better position to help you. Good luck!! -
Hi Caz and a very warm welcome to CAG,You will find lots of expert people who are very friendly . To help you get more advice on your case and to let you keep a track of it, I will create a new thread of your own, within this same forum. Have a look at similar threads which will help to skill you up. Now that you have your own thread, just ask questions when you are stuck. Hopefully someone will post soon with some further advice. Best of luck and enjoy CAG.

Go to the Department of Pensions and Work and ask about Fuel Direct. Here is a link which gives further help and advice. This will help with your budgeting and keep Scottish Power off your back provided you qualify for it and keep to the arrangement. Overdue utility bills : Directgov - Money, tax and benefits This process should help you hopefully. Additionally, phone Scottish Power and ask about their Social Tariff and see if you qualify. I hope this helps you.

Come, come. PM's are just that- private. Intrigue over and nothing to worry about as the issue will be resolved. Night all!!
