You are absolutely right. I accept that the CAG request for donations is completely disconnected from the website for which CAG provided a link. I acted in haste, my remarks were not intended for CAG. I think CAG provides an excellent consumer service and hope the donation that I now make demonstrates that. My sincere apologies

hello everyone I have been registered for a week, have posted two 'new guy' threads in this forum, quoted a reply to someone in the bailiff forum, visited the chat room a few times and received e-mails directly into my in box, so I know that something is working but I think it's more by luck than anything else. I have found the FAQs that encourage me to read, I have found the rules about hijacking threads, and also about not pm-ing administrators etc. What I cant find is general information about navigating the CAG site, explaining threads, how to use quote, quick reply etc, how to put smileys in chat room and in post. Several people have tried to help. Either I'm to dumb not being able to figure things out for myself - or something isnt working. Is anyone prepared to do go on one by phone, e-mail or chat room, please respond -names not required. If livelylad, katysage or anyone else I've contacted so far reads this -thank you for your efforts.

Hi, Iam still trying to find my way around the site

Hi everyone. I'm so dumb I had to go to the chat room to find out how to participate. I am retired, and have managed to look after my finances reasonably well, and earn the reputation of being an awkward b***** along the way. My son has not fared so well. I successfully represented him in an employment tribunal to claim withheld wages, but he is deeply in debt to both his bank and credit card company. His story is pretty much along the lines of our founder, with charges actually creating the problem. His employer hasnt paid up yet, so we're asked for a warrant of execution, and now we're going back to the bank. The one thing I've picked up already is to read everything that you've offered up before making a move so I'll not have anything to contribute for a while :-? Sapper
