  2. Thanks post, I am confused about the interest refund of £1400. Is this coming of the total. As you can see I am concerned that I have already paid well over £2k and the loan balance has only come down by about £1400.

  5. Post, I received the judgement from the FOS today. It's quite long (4 pages) I was just looking some advice as I am wary of signing and returning the documentation.

  7. I think what is obvious is that they are using every tatic possible to delay any complaints against them. I am just surprised they hjaven't been handed a big fine yet for failing to provide basic details. If they do somehow manage to pull thru the complaints won't just disappear.
  8. Basically Cattles is bust if the bondholders what it to be. However I am sure they will limp on for another while. I wonder how much the bondholders charged them in fees for the bounced direct debit, then the telephone call and letter all in the same day!
  9. Resolution 6 only becomes revelant if people continue to lend to cattles. It really is surprising that despite all the events that cattles customer service is still appalling. I would be interested in the number of complaints currently lodged with the FOS. Can you imagine the amount of money welcome will have to refund for PPI/charges etc on top the £1.2bn (I think) that has gone missing. My impression is that they are dragging their heels as far as refunds go so they can present the best possible picture to the banks to get the loans renewed and once that is done they will be forced to give refunds back. It's all very underhand..
  10. Arrived home to find 2 letters from welcome with charges applied. Phone to find out exactly what had been added to my account and it's £60 in charges. Phoned there call centre for this but they wouldn't let me make a complaint it was either being passed to branch or compliance. So I spoke to Compliance saying payment was withheld due to outstanding Sar fromthe 25th March and to tell the branch to stop hassling me. Basically welcome have screwed me so I guess what comes around goes around.
  11. Hi Traz, It depends on the complexity of the case. My case has been sent to welcome over ten weeks ago and is still not sorted. Post is keeping a low profile or maybe he is celebrating!
  12. Hang fire someone more knowledgable will help. Is the loan thru welcome car finance. It is best at the minute that you don't tell them were the car is. Obviously welcome is under a lot of pressure at the minute and that is why theyare pestering you.

If the banks announce that they will not relend to cattles it would most likely for Cattles into administration therefore meaning it would be a nightmare for the banks to try and collect the outstanding money from welcomes customers. So they have to keep the pretence going to get any money back. Just my thoughts. Anyway I am still waiting on them to come back to the Fos. Was told weeks ago it would be sorted by the end of the month. Guess they didn't actually specific which month thou.

  15. She seemed reluctant to speak to the compliance team and said the account would be passed for legal action. I haven't heard anything since.
  16. Had a phone call tothe house will I was at work apparently left message to phone. Then they phoned my mobile from their mobile phone. They ask if I realised I had cancelled the direct debit and asked why. I directed them to their compliance team stating I was waiting on a number of outstanding requests including completion of my SAR which I have been waiting on for more than 4 months. I am willing to pay the loan but I felt I had no other answer to get things that I am legally entitled to.
  17. Had enough with these clowns. Cancelling my direct debit because they are showing me absolutely no respect. I am amazed that the FOS gives them so much time just to pass over the relevant documentation. I will start repaying when welcome start behaving properly
  18. Well I understand the frustration of many. Amost 8 months later andthe FOS is still waiting on welcome to give them documents. Just shows the best way is direct court action.
  19. traz, I'm in the same situation will let you know what happens in the next 6 weeks. Suggest you send of a cca and £1 postal order. Hopefully the agreement will be unenforceable.
  20. bit of a joke. Definitely wonga's tatics ignoring people. I wonder what would happen if we ignored them. I would write a strongly worded letter to fos saying wonga's totally uncooperating with anybody is causing you undue stress which is contrary to the fla guidelines that they have signed up to.
  21. It's the old saying "do unto others what they do unto you". If they didn't try to screw so much money out of me and put up so many obstacles then I would probably treat them with some respect. I guess they are learning a very expensive lesson.
  22. sent of 3 letters ppi, charges and incomplete sar. Also got letter fos saying they expect to give me a reply to my complaint by 18th June.
  23. Enfieldian, I think it is possibly worthwhile logging a complaint with the financial ombudsman. I don't believe they have the power to affect poundstillpayday and I'm not even sure if poundstillpayday are able to take you through the english courts system because of where they are based. I will try to find out more.
  24. Quick update and seeking advice. Welcome sent out documnets in reply to my sar. They only sent documents relating to the cureent loan and not the previous two. So I am sending letter looking charges back, Letter of dispute given sar hasn't been fulfilled, and another letter asking wht i have documentation relating to ppi when they said in a final response i never got ppi. Now for the advice. My cca looks ok except for a box at the bottom where a preexisting account number should be filled in. This has been left blank is that enough to void the agreement?
  25. I stand to be corrected but I believe in a court case that an email carries the same weight as a letter. If someone knows for definite please let us know.
