  1. And it gets even better. Loan rate branded 'immoral' (From Bournemouth Echo)
  2. Well, After yesterday's news the reailty is sinking in. Another blow for stuggling Birstall lender Cattles - Batley News Loans News - Cattles battles to stay afloat
  3. There will be more news this month. It's actually a good opportunity for thos who loans are finished but were missold insurances etc to get claims in. Indeed everyone should be claiming back PPI because they will get it back.
  4. Post, I know your busy did you get a chance to look at my statements I emailed. I have to reply to the fos next week. thanks
  5. My first action of the day will be a letter before action over charges.
  6. Don't be distracted. Their lenders have obviously not got back the money they were hoping for. Press ahead with claims and don't allow Welcome any breathing space. Stick to your deadlines and not welcome's.
  7. If you wait a couple of days things will be clearer. Don't worry you are not the only that is behind in payments with welcome. Do not sign anything until you get advice. Tell them you are reading through the contract and need time to read it. Do not let give them the car either. Basically just stall them for a few days.
  8. I wouldn't worry too much I would expect some news tomorrow. Just thinl of all the welcome staff who are wondering what tomorrow will bring.
  9. It would be strange that after all the delaying tatics that they will now start recognising complaints. However I believe it costs welcome money if the fos are forced to investigate complaints therefore perhaps in some cases they will find it cheaper just to pay up straight away. Postggj, did you get my emails?
  10. I'll show the statements I not sure if your eyes will be able to take it though. You saw the figure and I reckon I have already paid it back but you can check yourself.
  11. Yes according to welcome there is. Had a reply from the fos but they don't seem to understand welcome's statements. I scan some the previous loans tomorrow. I notice that the current doesn't seem to have something that the previous one's did.
  12. Postggj, It's just a pity they bleed me dry and I will have no recompense. Thanks for the help.
  13. Postggj, I have had 4 loans in total I had insurance on the 2nd loan but not on the loan directly prior to the current one. The total amount of credit is at the top but my balance starts at £75 more. It was the second page about the acceptance fee I was querying.
  14. Postggj, that's it sent thank you for having a look at it.
  15. Post, I have this agreement scanned now can I email it to you.
  16. That's 1.5bn before refunds of ppi's which will be refunded via the fos or courts. And that's refunds for the last 6 years!
  17. Jamiethemac, I read thru every post you have ever made before I replied to your initial post. You must acknowledge that welcome have be up to no good. Why would 6 directors be sacked and postings forced out? Everyone including shareholders, the current board and auditors acknowledge something serious has been happening at welcome over a long time. I can't wait to hear the full story when it comes out. You will have notice that the media as been restrained in their reporting. Your very lucky that welcome has treated you fairly. What I got of welcome I have paid back and much more as well. I have asked welcome a number of questions over the last 18 months and they have failed to give me a proper answer. It is obvious from their letters that they are intent on delaying complaints and they couldn't even comply with my subject access request in the timeframe set down in law.
  18. Pity you couldn't tell welcome to pay back the fees and insurances that they got people to sign up to instead of stalling on refunds. Well you can only stall so long welcome.
  19. post, can i ask for a little advice please. my loan agreement was for 3986 however my balance starts at 4061. so the acceptance fee has been added. the only t&c regarding the acceptance fee i can states - "in order to ensure as far as possible that you will be able to meet your obligations under the loan, we will review your income and expenses, including any current indebtedness and other outgoings. The acceptance fee will be charged to you by being included in the total advance to cover this credit counselling. If you wish we will also provide you with a medium and long term financial plan." is this a standard term that lets them of adding the acceptance fee to the the balance and then charge interest. It would also appear that they upped the interest by 8% although I can find any documentation in the SAR stating that they give me the 14 days notice.
  20. T2upnorth I don't what I would do in your situation. I only have an unsecured loan. I am pretty sure they have messed up my credit rating long ago. I just hope that this week will decide their future. Perhaps when it comes to your next payment cattles will be no more.
  21. As this post says they are stalling on everything complaints, unfair charges and ppi's. Therefore I feel it's only fair that I stall on payments. It is unbelievable given that poor customer service and dishonesty got them into this mess that they continue follow the same lines. I know if I pay them anymore I won't get any refunds that are due therefore I have to take preventative measures.
  22. lolly1977, Tell them to stop hassling you. With that letter they agreed to your payment so they can't change it. If it was me I would also tell them they are lucky getting that much and that you will be trying to agree a lesser next week.
  23. Would there be anyway of getting everyone's dealings with welcome removed from their credit ratings given the pending fallout from Welcome's antics. Did you read the post on another board that the default rate for welcome maybe over 50% and rising! If ever a company deserved a taste of their own medicine it is welcome.
  24. Post, I sent letter back to fos stating confusion that the intial loan was for £4,100 and I havemade repayments of £3,900+ and the balance still is £2,880+? I just can't understand the figures even with charges.
  25. Thanks for the advice. It's amazing having waited weeks for the first response to my sar. I stopped this month's payment and told them I wouldn't be paying until I got the details of the remaining loans. Maybe that's why they sent the remaining details in less than a week!
