  1. This is a bit messy isn't it? So your mother (as landlord) has a dispute with her tenant over the use of the property and they issued a claim against her. When was this done and have you seen the original Court documents? What were the details of this claim? (I assume it was to convert the AST to a commercial one as per the accompany letter?!). Then the tenants stop paying and your mother decided to just move back into one of the properties despite the AST still being in place is that right? As a result the tenants have made an application to Court to essentially get your mother out of the property, hence the Order you recen

  2. Stop asking their permission, Janie. You're humiliating yourself by giving them power. You are the customer. You can choose to spend your money somewhere else, where you will feel welcome and safe. If you really want to shop in Arcadia stores, then go in by yourself one day and see what happens. It isn't a crime, the very worst thing that can happen is that they ask you to leave. 99.9% that won't happen, you won't be recognised, it will be fine. You need to draw a line. You apologised and paid, you were embarrassed. Now it's over, lift your head up and get on with your life.
