Now I have reached the Moneyclaim stage I have gone back again to the FAQ's to sort out my next steps. I have just notices a few numbers that I found curious.

Number of members as at a few minutes ago 31,605

Number of views of Step-by-Step Instructions 20,574

Number of views of Frequently Asked Questions 11,544

Assuming that people only look at them once, although I have definitely read them much more than that, is it any wonder that we, and more precisely the moderators, have to keep repeating themselves in the forums.

I know we have had a lot of new members in the last few days, and maybe the view counts aren't accurate, but please everyone.....

READ THE FAQ's AND OTHER INFORMATION BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS

I know it is considered bad manners to use capitals, colours and big letters, but I hope I will be forgiven on this occasion. I just think it is appaling that people are freely giving of their time and energy, while others just sit back and let them because they can't be bothered to look.

This is why we have people asking basic questions all the time and why we constantly tell new members to read the FAQ's and step by step guide .Some people just jump straight in

Shocking :o

Bearing in mind that some people may make several visits to the FAQ and Step by Step guide (I certainly did. And still do) - the figures are showing an even scarier picture.

Are repeated visits to the same thread logged?

If not - I'll shut up :p

blimey riley - I must account for at least 5 each of those lol

I wonder (always dangerous ground) if there's a way to direct people to the FAQ pages when their registration is complete. A sort of "well done, you're a member, now read THIS!" *shoves FAQ in front of face*

... a little

The welcome email which people receive tells them to read the FAQ and what esle they should do.

A lot of people don't bother to read it and come striaght to admin or the mods or send email asking where are the template letters. Have you had a look at the view of the template letters? It is astonishing.

People just want a letter to send. they don't want to know what else to do or why they are doing it.

It is not suprising that they are easy prey for the banking system.
