Best way to raise issues?

i notice that there a re few email addys etc floating around.Is it best to email the letters or to send them through mail (recorded??)

 

Just wondering if anyone had got anywhere through email route?

In the early stages it is better to post by recorded delivery. If a dialogue opens at a later date then it may be worth emailing urgent responses to questions etc.

Somewhere on the forum (can't remember where, but it was a mod or possibly Dave or Bankfodder who posted it - yes, I know, I'm being vague), there is a post explaining that email has been accepted as a suitable means of communication for this sort of thing.

 

However, my personal feeling is that if you send a hard copy recorded or special delivery, you have 3rd party proof that it was delivered. Whether it was read, is of course another issue - the same issue you have with email.

most of my communication with egg and capital one has been via email keep copies of what you have sent and dates as I do on a word document on a pen drive just incase they do not let you into their site anymore as abbey have done with me...once you file a moneyclaim it appears they no longer respond via email anyway or at least that has been the case with me...
