:p:-D :-D Just to let you know, I am currently going with Lloyds and Halifax but this is about my hubby.

He has been right behind me regarding this. He is very good with his finances - has to be - he is the bread winner of course and has to keep the money flowing.

A couple of weeks ago he forgot about some direct debits and they went bouncy, bouncy - in effect got £180 bank charges. He was absolutely wrought with anger. A long story short - I called them and spoke to India who did refund £55 and said would enter a letter regarding the rest. A letter was then received by us saying that these charges blah blah you know the score!!. but no thanks to refunding.

I decided to email them and said that if they did not refund charges would go down the route for claiming all the charges over the last 6 years - (not much) but would start the ball rolling. I hoped this would wake them up. This was a couple of weeks ago.

Since then Hubby lost his steam and eventually I asked if he would like to start the Prelim Letter - he said no - leave it until I have settled my claims. Not too good with juggling.

A letter arrived today - stating they will refund all the charges £180 + £55 (extra) dont ask why !! but they had looked into his background and found this was indeed a one off case. He was over the moon and even gave me some money to spend.

Just to say......
