Hello folks.

I have been reading through this board for several months now and have found it very heartening. I have a particular hatred of Debt collection agencies.

My phone is set up so as not to accept witheld calls. GREAT idea

Some of them now ring on alternative numbers a lot of which are on google. I was wondering if it would be worth compiling a list of the unlisted numbers they now use to ring up so as everyone here who as caller display can be aware and ignore them. I am ****ed off with earky morning calls or calls when they know Im unlikely to be in the house i.e. working hours. They try all sorts of tricks if my wife is foolish enough to answer the phone to them.

What do the Mods think???

I am not so sure that its a good idea to just ignore these people, I would advise trying to reslove the dispute(s).

The problem with dealing with then on the phone is that they LIE, cAJOLE and BULLY. They dont give to flying figs about you or your circumstances.

I agree they are very difficult and testing I suggest any contact is done in writing, inform them that this is the only method of communication you agree to. Tell them that any further phone calls will be considered harrassment and treated as such.
