I have had a letter from Mint credit card offering a part settlement with a cheque enclosed. What they are saying is that they reduced their charges to £12 in line with the recomendation from the OFT and as a result will only refund the charges before this change was made.

Is there a standard responce to this and if so where can I find it.

thanks as always.

Hi Gizmo

I'm a bit confused, they have sent me a cheque for the reduced amount. Should I pay this cheque into my account and send a letter (as per Smoorachs post) rejecting their offer. Or send them a letter rejecting thir offer and send their cheque back as well?
