Abbey does it again

Hi, I have just joined the Consumer Action Group, however, I have already been dealing with Abbey over the charges on my account. I have reached the stage where I threatened legal action unless charges were repaid. They have replied by offering £451.00 rather than the £2000+ claimed. So I guess I will have to take the next step. No problem there, except that I live in Scotland. The Small claims court in Scotland only deals in claims up to £750.00. Can anyone tell me whether I can claim in the English courts since I lived in England when I opened the account? Otherwise, great to be a part of this, I wish I had known about it earlier. Keep up the good work.

Inform the bank that the account is in dispute due to charges to stop them taking further action.
