Hi all

The moral of my story is not to panic and think they are going to make an example of you and defend you in court.

I had two letters saying Halifax were not going to refund my charges (£459) but I just ignored them and followed all the time limits as per FAQ's etc, then put in moneyclaim on 19th June and paid the £50 by credit card. 2 nights ago I reassured Delboy on here that we were both at the same stage and not to panic, then yesterday letter from Halifax arrived saying they were paying up "without admission of liability" and hey presto the money was in my bank account by the afternoon.

Fantastic feeling having won without shouting about it. Just stick to all the deadlines as the forum states and you calmly will win it!!

A quick question how do we let court know they have settled? Just on moneyclaim or what?

Thanks to all advisers on here for the sensible advice.

Cheers KIM
