I currently owe them about £1100.

No idea how as my original loan was 400 quid.

I've been paying them 40 pound a month but as I've now paid the rest of my debt off I'm in a position now where I could pay everything off In one go.

However Im not happy about the charges Etc added to the account.

Anyone got any ideas the best way to get these reduced or shall I just stick to paying them 40 a month.

I would like to clear it because I've worked my butt off this year clearing 7.5k of debt

be a shame to just leave this one hanging around.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

tell us about the debt yes please..

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

It was a £400 pay day loan from speed credit. When decided to sort my debt out I stopped paying them and they have sent me numerous letters in different companies such as Marshall hoares aswell as NDR. I know they are all one company!! I set up a payment plan in July for 40 pounds a month. They are the last of my debtors to be paid in full but it seems the £1140 is a little steep! I wanna get them paid of but I can't afford all that in one go. Do I just keep paying them the £40 a month and forget about it or try to barter with them?

As you are well aware, they are all the same nasty little company.

The general rule is to pay back what you owe but 1 months interest. This company will not go anywhere near court with the ridiculous charges on the account, but on the other hand, they will hound you with texts and phone calls.

I WOULD not be paying them £1400 for a £400 loan EVER!
