paid in cheque at branch this morning, nice young man asks

'is there anything else?'

'yes' I reply, 'could you pass this letter on for me (preliminary approach letter addressed to customer services) ' .

'I'll open it and see if it's anything I can help you with' says he,

' I don't think so ' I comment, smug look on his face soon drops as he reads on,

'right I'll pass that on then'

'Thank you, good bye' is my bright retort as I depart.

I wonder how far the letter has gone now. Am I the first at this branch, will there be whispering, its a very small town...

Bank of Scotland round 1: £740 + costs settled, still sore over the 8% grrr

Bank of Scotland round 2: £629 +101.15 interest +£39 costs settled.

I personally recieved no response by handing a letter in to my branch, but sent an email, using the contact us, part of the website and recieved a letter today saying that they were looking into my claim and would be in contact within 4 weeks.

My advice is to cut out the branches and just go straight to emailing the bank.

My DPA request was hand delivered and I got results on that. I know they have received this letter, they have 14 days, the clock is ticking.......... ;-)
