Hi and welcome to CAG

Simple answer - no!

You would need to contact the creditor and ask for the newest one to be removed. If they are both the same date then one should be removed

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

Thanks, already have done that and no luck, they seem to be a bit of a pain. We know best and we won;t do anything about it attitude.

I;ve got my credit file and am planing to write to Experian with the problems on it and see what they can do, usually a letter from them manages a favourable response.

Bank of Scotland = HBOS part of LLOYDS.

RBS is separate entity, did you mean Bank of Scotland?

You need to make formal complains to both companies

and copy to the CRA, with the CRA letter send FAo the Compliance Manager.

The rule 1 debt 1 default still applies same group or not.

Don't forget the CRA will only contact the people who place

the default for permission to act they can do nothing without it
