Hi,

 

Our car was flashing top up water so topped up but kept coming up - so decided to put it in for a service. And highlighted this area to mechanic. Pick up car from service pay 350 pounds. Few days later top up water flashes again, take back to garage they fix and send me on my way.

 

Wife on her way to france with the car, car breaks down and waits for the AA who fix the problem and tell me the garage broke the valve cap.

 

My wife phoned the garage angry that they hadnt fixed the problem despite returning and then being sent on her way.

 

The garage said they can look at a partial reimbursement, but need to go and see them tomorrow - what would a reasonable reimbursement be? Anything else i can say to make it look like i know what im on about?
