Ok i know this is a make do and mend forum but as this is a money saving tip then i think it qualifys.

 

How many times have you heard someone say they dropped there contact and spent ages on the floor looking for it?

 

Well a tip i have and can say works is for contact lense finding and other small object finding like earing backs or even cleaning small ornaments.

 

Take your hoover and place over the pipe a stocking tight or other similar item. either make sure u hold onto it or place a elastic band or similar item that will hold the stocking/tight down.

 

Turn ur hoover on and hoover in the general area of lost item. This way u will more than likely find the lost earring back contact or small important time without it going up the hoover.

 

For ornaments it works by sucking the dust off and not swolling the ornament.

If you lose a precious stone (like a diamond out of one's tiara) then switch off the lights and use a torch. It might just twinkle back at you!
