I received a letter from Roxburghe back in July, I sent them the bemused letter. They replied that they would not chase a debt in dispute and they had sent it back to Nationwide.

 

i heard again from Roxburghe at the beginning of this week, not mentioning the last letter, just like the first.

 

I haven't got round to replying yet but today I have had a letter from Graham White solicitors. They have been instructed to obtain payment for Roxburghe.

 

What do I do now?

Send them the bemused letter suitably amended, also pointing out that their client agreed to return the account to Nationwide and enclose a copy of the correspondence for reference.

IMO do not phone them under any circumstances

 

 

have you got a fax machine - if so fax them a letter along these lines (if not get in in the post asap)

thank you for your letter,

 

i would be grateful if you would put any offer of an "amicable solution" in writing, either in open correspondence or without prejudice in order that a full audit trail of what is said and done is maintained

 

from experience i know it is easy for the contents of telephone calls to be the subject of dispute and mis understandings

 

i look forward to your further advices

Are CCS anything to do with Westcot?

 

I sent CCS the bemused letter ten days ago, not had a reply but today got standard DCA letter from Westcot today!

 

Do I send them the bemused letter too?
