I requested a list of Bank charges from Halifax for the past 6 years. I got a list back but it doe not specify what the charges are for or when or on what date or year they were made, just states amount's and how much the charge was for.

Can this list be excepted by me as list of Bank Charges or does the list have to have the date, the year and what the charge was for on it?

Doesn't sound much good to you with out the dates!

If it was a basic letter requesting the info and not a SAR then send a Full SAR request.

If they don't supply it within 40 days make a complaint to the ICO.

Barclays - Monthly payments made

Cahoot - Agreement received, awaiting 2nd agreement after DCA.

MBNA1&2 - Agreements received. (Currently in limbo)

Also How should I set out my claim for repayment of bank charges ( also for credit cards to)? Is there a template for any of these? How how much of the credit card charges can I reclaim.

I know there is a waiver at the moment for bank charge claims. How should a letter be sent about the waiver and bank charges?

No 8 will show you haw to set it out for 8% interest. Just remember you can't claim the 8% until you file at court.

All the letters you will need are here. Spend some time after you have posted your prelim letter reading some of the longer threads so any letter you get from the Halifax won't be a surprise.

Juat remember the test case is only concerned with current accounts, everything else is not affected - credit/store cards, loans, business accounts, old mortgage providers. Have some fun (with a profit).

Also Halifax never give a reason for the charge. So when you fill out your spread sheet all you need to put is "Charges as notified"

Also in the link Sally gave you above, use letter 18 to send for a complete set of documents. Letter 2.

"Charges as Notified" does fine!

Indeed, on some of my statements that is the phrase that HBoS used!!!
