My friend has requested a CCA from a DCA. They have not supplied this in the 12+2 timescale but have acknowledged receipt of his letter requesting the CCA and replied that the account is suspended for 28 days.

Can someone please tell me if this is acceptable or should we now follow up with the failure to supply CCA template letter.

Many thanks

  • 3 weeks later...

The DCA have sent us a copy of the Loan application form saying this is the CCA? I beleived these to be different forms, also they say they have one calender month to respond. They say this account will be passed to the debt collecton department.

1. Is the application form the same as a CCA?

2. Dont they have to provide details of all payments made?

3. There was a PPI on this account but person was told this did not cover their cirumstances.

What do you recommend as next step please?

Many thanks for your help
