  1. hi, That is a standard reply letter from barclays i received an almost identical one back in september.   2. hi, it doesnt really matter that you sent the letter to your local branch as they should pass it through their internal mail to the appropriate department. Did you get a receipt or proof of postage for it? It can sometimes take up to 7 days to receive a reply. hope this helps. claire
  3. hi, No when barclays phoned to settle i asked for the court fees on top. It is unlikely to get that far, but... you should always be in the frame of mind that it very well could. claire
  4. yes thats right 28 days from the 24th. I had a directions hearing for the 26th march.
  5. barclays settled my claim in full on 28/2/07. They have 28 days from the date of issue.

  21. My court date was set for the 26th march and barclays offered me full settlement last week. The banks have yet to turn up to court to prove that their charges are lawful. They tend to pay up about 1-2 weeks before the court date. Claire
  22. hi, this is very normal. It just means that barclays have entered a defence to your claim, you will get a copy of the defence an allocation questionnaire and notice of which court your claim has been transferred to.
