  1. just want to say thanks to whoever altered my letter into pdf, as I said I'm abit useless on that side of things. Cheers!
  2. So I guess complaing to the DVLA is a waste of time judging by the reply. still got DB Schenker and Cheshire East trading standards yet.
  3. hi guys, well the DVLA have replied, here its is.
  4. Hi I'm having dealings with ANPR Ltd, since December 2012, I've ignored then sent letters back un opened etc, but they still send the begging letters, its prob cost them more in postage etc than the money they want off me!
  5. Hi guys, the latest is, complained to Cheshire East trading standards, email the head of properties of DB Schenker, complained to DVLA about ANPR Ltd for passing my details to a 3rd party. DB are looking into ANPR Ltd as they are un aware whats happening at Crewe depot! I'm just awaiting more info, nothing from trading standrds or DVLA yet.
  6. Hi there I guess its too late for me to appeal to POPLA as I got my PCN in December 13, I did get a POPLA number, but never appealed.
  7. Hi there, I contacted Cheshire East trading standards yesterday and reported ANPR Ltd for their shoddy, threatening full of lies begging letters they send out, Also informed then that Lancashire trading standards has looked into them too. Wait to see what happens.
  8. Hi there, so should I continue ignoring these cowboys or should i complain? and if so who do I complain too?
  9. oh and under the smiley face was the word invitation!
  10. Ok cheers guys, this has been going on since Dec 12, you can prob see from my prev threads on here, I really want to post the invitation on here but not sure how too, then you can really see how comical this is
  11. Hi again, How do I send a scanned image to the posts?
  12. Hi again, I'm going to post what they have said in my invitation. Its a piece of A4 card folded in half, on the front is a big smiley face with the word invitation below it. inside reads - To pay.... The last invoice that ANPR Ltd sent you was returned marked: 'Not known at this address' Even though the DVLA records state that a vehicle is registered in your name at this address and we now have a Dun & bradstreet, proof of residence. I'm sorry for the 'look alike' invitation card! I bet you are well disappointed, but if you pay the outstanding balance immediately, we'll forget this matter! Automatic Number Plate Recognition is much more common than you may be aware and if we don't receive payment immediately, we shall revert back to the DVLA in 7 days informing them that this vehicle has no registered address and the ramifications as you can imagine are huge. 'A county court judgement can affect the credit availability of all who live there' Mr. P. Hargreaves, Compliance Officer NB: Sending this letter back opened may constitute a criminal offence if you are not the addressee. Section 84 of the Postal Services Act 2000 I also noticed on the back of my invitation was this, HS Litigation Services, Kemp House 152 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX 0845 8622960 Any ideas who they are?
  13. Oh sorry about some of the spelling think the batteries are going on my keyboard, maybe I can get a job at ANPR Ltd as its that bad! lol
  14. Hi there, well the latest is ANPR Ltd have been sending me begging letters, and I've been retrurning them unopened with the words NO CONTRACT RETURN TO SENDER. I did this twice, now the sly buggers have sent me another letter in a plain envolope hand written address. Iside was an invoice and an invitation wit a big yellow smiley face on it, also they have done a Dun & Bradstreet search on my address eclosing the copy of it too. Also they have stated that I returned the letters with "NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS" which is a lie! THey are also threatening to inform the DVLA that the vehicle has no registered address! if i don't pay within 7 days! So it looks like ANPR Ltd revert to cheap un professional methods by sending out a comedy invitation and use yet more scare/threatening tactics! I wonder if this comedy invitation comes under the BPA rules? If I can scan them I'll try to post them. Cheers
  15. Hi Mal, I read your posts very interesting too. cheers
  16. Hi Surfer01 have you followed my previous posts on this?
  17. Hello, I received the letter of intent from ANPR this morning, it says this debt is now being sold, £140
  18. So how does the debt collection agency get your personal details? If ANPR sells the debt on will they be in breach of section 55 of the data protection act 1998 to unlawfully procure or sell personal information? or does the debt agency apply to the DVLA for the info too?
  19. hi there, I've now received the 2nd letter demanding £140 now, I've noticed that there is a spelling mistake on both letters, they've spelt recovery costs as cecovery costs! I guess this can be used againt them too? I'm still ignoring them.
  20. so the threat of court action and bailiffs and higher costs are still scare tactics?
  21. Hi there, ANPR Ltd have decided to write to me now, asking for £100 payment outstanding parking notice, also in light gray writing is other costs which include, debt recovery costs : contacting the dvla, invoice production and correspondence £40 county court summons: preparing and gathering evidence, setting out case and filling £70.00 judgement enforcement officers fees per visit , per hour £135.00 Should I continue to ignore or not? I've written to them stating the vehicle was parked before they erected the 1 sign. Any ideas?
  22. Has there been a change in the law recently? so these cowboys have more power to pursue the owner?
  23. Cheers DBC are there any template letters on this site to use? I wonder why and how these companies exist!
