  1. Hello so i've finally had an email from them, asking me to send my income and expenditure again as if i'd never spoke to them, having sent it off proposing my off they sent a counter offer of 56 over 5 months which i could afford however they said i cant start it from october as the first payment would be needed immediately and that they couldnt hold the account without payment, now i know im right inasking that it start in october as it would take me a few weeks to get my finances in order and i did mention it to them 3 weeks ago in the first place is there anyway i can say this professionally and sternly to them?
  2. Hello to squeeze in the long story, I have posted on several places but thought it'd be best to start a new thread, I have 2 payday loans, one is with Payday Uk and the other Wonga, I have recently agreed a payment plan with wonga quite successfully, however I emailed paydayuk a few weeks ago to arrange a payment plan long before the long was due, after several frustrated emails they said it has to fail payment before a payment plan is considered, that day has come and the £281 is due, I offered a plan by email of £46 however they pretended as if I never even mentioned it, I'm reluctant to call but want to get it sorted fairly immediately! And was wondering if anyone has advice or experiences to help, plus would anyone know how much they are likely to offer me based on the loan amount?
  3. Hello didnt know where to post this but after sorting my loan with wonga my last big hurdle is paydayuk and wanted some advice as with dealing with them, i have followed protocol and emailed them weeks in advance telling them im not going to be able to afford it and they asked for an income and expediture and they then just emailed back saying i can defer the loan by paying 80 pound and then i emailed to say i want to set up a plan and they said that this would only be possible over the phone, i want to get the plan set up but want some advice in dealing with them?

  5. and would i be able to do this over the phone as they have sent a letter to my previous address asking that i call?
  6. my main account is with the bank of ireland, i had gone over the overdraft in the past and natwest asked me to deposit at least £10 per month into the account to reduce the balance however it was either taken by interest or by me stupidly taking it back out, the limit is at 1350 and its gone over by 60 in charges to 1410, im looking to pay this off month by month but i want to arrange a payment plan so that i cant access the money and that there wont be any significant interest or charges and obviousley without it going to a debt collection agency.
  7. Hello not too sure if this is the right place to be but i have currently had a student overdraft with natwest that i pay £10 per month into but it is just paying the interest really and im wondering if i can get some help agreeing a payment plan with natwest so to just pay the overdraft off and have the balance reduced so im not paying the interest, i dont use this account at all it was just a stupid mistake made while at uni, and it has now gone over the overdraft limit so i want to start paying it off properly but im worried i'll be expected to pay a ludacris amount?? can anyone help??
  8. I will do, again thankyou for the help, this forum and yourself are a credit to the committment to help people with out judgement or predjudice.
  9. so i since have had an email from wonga with regards to my revised offer of £70 for the first 4 months then around £134 thereafter they have sent a breakdown as well starting on the 1st of sept, now i have already paid the 56 and simply emailed that this be reflected on the loan. and be taken as my committment to pay off the loan etc.
  10. and are they likely to put into debt collection proceedings ie external debt collection companies etc if i am paying each month?
  11. and would i need to wait for them to acknowledge the plan and payment before contesting the interest, obviously as that would be an agreement in principle from them with regards to my payments?
  12. I will do, my only main concern is the interest, will they stop adding this on at any point, or do i have to pay it seeing as i informed them in advance i couldn't pay the loan in full?
  13. Thanks again, your advice has been a great help i emailed and informed them that the payment was made and that i would adhere to this and increase payments when im able to do so
  14. So update im a day overdue, i havnt had any email or telephone call to say as such and as of yet have had no attempt to take payment there has been a days interest added on and im worried that they're just gonna pile it on and on, obviously i dont want any letters coming demanding this that and the other, but i have paid £56 into their account yesterday using the barclays account that is listed on their website should i email them to tell them i've paid that into the account as it says to email customer care to let them know? i recieved an email from them on tuesday telling me that they couldn't accept my plan because there was no prove to show hardship and that my payments were too low, i emailed them a slightly revised plan and as of yet have had no response... what should i do, im getting very stressed!!!
  15. So i have emailed back saying i wouldnt be able to afford paying that amount but would be happy to agree a plan of:x5 monthly payments of £56 then x9 monthly payments of £124 thereafter on the first of every month, i have said that legally this plan would be more than sufficient and that you would find from my income and expenditure that it is more than i could afford, as i really just need a couple of months to get my finances back on track, we'll see what they say, after that i'll set up a transfer each motnh for the 56.
  16. No i dont have there details how would i go about getting them? should i email them back telling them i cant afford it, the repayment they proposed is more than the extra income i have, are they likely to move on that? or will it get there back up by emailing them? i could afford this after the 6 months but not now!!!

  18. Hello i have ahad a reply from wonga stating that they cant accept my offer of £56 because the value of payments is too low, however they will allow me to pay £113 per month until its paid off!!!! i obviously cannot afford this and i cannot afford the stress of allowing it to default etc, could you please advise me what i should do next?
  19. thanks once again i'll email off a standard income and outgoings statement
  20. Just thought i would update on the situation as im unable to access the i&e form wonga sent me until tomorrow, can i just send them my own version like all my income and outgoings in an email? or will they send it back to me? also are you aware if i call my bank (Bank of Ireland UK) will they be able to cancel a CPA over the phone?
  21. Thankyou again for the advice, i was just worried that they wouldn't believe what i put because i know they have no right to proof, and worried they expect me to pay absoloutely all of my free cash to them, i understand i got in this position but at least im willing to get out of it rather than let it pass on to debt collection.
  22. so wonga got back to me today asking me to fill out an income and expenditure form, now if i fill it out which im not bothered by doing i know some people say you shouldnt, but if i put my circumstances down will they say im lying because as i said previously im in dire straits financially? also they sent a 2nd email saying that they have reviewed my account and they believe the content of my email was fully addressed, if i feel they have not resolved the query etc please reply back, is this a standard email to say that they have acknowledged and are waiting for the I and E form?
  23. Thanks for the help i'll report back as soon as i recieve a reply fingers crossed.
  24. as i've sent the email already have i shot myself in the foot? or when they reply can i say that i would re-evaluate after 6 months etc?
  25. i could definately afford 6 months at 56 pound and i could probably pay twice that amount after that date, would they be likely to accept that? my main concern is to get my finance back on track they're in dire straights at the minute, and i just want to pay wonga and paydayuk off so that i can get out and stay out of this vicious cycle, and enjoy my money rather than feel on borrowed time.
