  1. But, phone 3 days before repayment is due (not before) ? To me that contradicts itself.
  2. "What The Agent suggested which seems the norm is to phone 3 days before repayment is due (not before)." This bit doesn't make sense to me?
  3. In what way? The correct amounts have been debited each month and i only leave enough in the bank account to cover the DD.
  4. I defaulted on my QQ loan and managed to obtain a 12 month repayment plan with them. I'm currently 7 months down the line...i pay via DD
  5. Thanks, will do. Is there a template letter that i can use to send regarding the debt is in dispute and they should not be chasing it?
  6. I am now being chased by a dca called Scotcall with a personal visit imminent. Despite that i have still been paying WDA the oc £1 nominal fee each month via standing order.
  7. Here is my story: I took a loan out with QQ last year (August 2011) rolled it over twice and then it was due to be paid back in November. I defaulted on that and got the usual 'Notice of payment 60 days overdue' email every other day. Tried to come to a payment plan that i could afford but of course they wouldn't play ball they wanted over £125 per month on my £700 debt. I reluctantly agreed to the plan to get them off my back (phone calls) but had no intentions of ever making payment as realistically i knew i couldn't afford that. So the first repayment of £125 was due, i obviously didn't pay it then received the standard automated email saying my account was due etc. I just ignored all automated emails up until now, JULY. Where i received an email from QQ basically begging me to agree to a £60 monthly plan over 12 months So it took QQ literally 9 months and THEY were the ones who came to me with a payment plan which i thought was rather funny haha Btw, i agreed to that so i now on a plan for the next 12 months to clear that debt.
  8. Just a quick update: I emailed WDA last week and put it bluntly that i would not be making any form of payment to DRS who are acting on their behalf as they do not own the debt. I have WDA's details and will make a token payment at the end of the month to show a willingness to pay my debt. I've not heard anything from either WDA or DRS since last week.
  9. I think i will be taking this step. This may sound stupid, but along the lines what exactly do i say? Thank you for your help.
  10. lol! So should i not even acknowledge the email that DR sent? I do in time want to pay this off, of course only £388.50 what i should rightly be paying but at present i'm in no rush.
  11. I have also received an email from DRS regarding the debt: Note that the figure has now risen again :s Dear - Mr Harry Our Client: Wage Day Advance Ltd Our ref: 447~~~ Client Ref: ~~~~~~~ Balance Outstanding: £614.10 We have been instructed by the above named client to contact you with regards to your unpaid account. As a matter of urgency, please call Mark Loughlin at DRS on 0151 545 3403 & quote your account number 44~~~ What I'm i best saying in a reply to DRS? Thanks all!
  12. Well i received a reply from WDA regarding DRS: Dear Harry, The Collection agency are acting on behalf of WDA, you can contact them to set an arrangement up to repay the balance on your account. Regards
  13. This is what i sent; Dear Wagedayadvance On receipt of the below email advising me that my account is now being handled Debt Revenue Services on your behalf. So they actually have no legal rights to the debt whatsoever apart from asking me to pay. I have emailed your company and tried to propose an amicable repayment agreement but my email has been totally disregarded. For the outstanding debt of £590.10 i would please like to request a full breakdown of the debt including specific charges and detail of what each charge is for. I look forward to a response. Thank You Received a reply from WDA: Dear Harry, Unfortunately we are no longer dealing with your account, it has been passed to a debt collection agency, please contact DRS on 0151 545 1500 to make arrangements for repayment. Regards ------- So WDA have totally dodged the question regarding asking them for a breakdown of the debt!
  14. Hopefully some sort of acknowledgement, although i am not holding my breath.
  15. Have emailed for now to see if i get a speedy response (hopefully)
  16. Thank you renegadeimp. Is there a template letter available for me to send?
  17. Took the loan out beginning of January: £300 loan £88.50 Interest Rolled it over twice on 31st January & 29th February so paid £88.50 twice = £177.00 in charges.
  18. Hi All, Received an email today from WDA saying the following: Dear Harry Account Transferred to Debt Recovery Agency Your account is now being handled by Debt Revenue Services who are acting on our behalf. All future communication should be made with Debt Revenue Services and any queries sent to Wage Day Advance will be passed onto them to deal with. We recommend that you contact them without delay to prevent any further action to your account. --------- The amount that WDA have said i now owe is £590.10 although in reality it should be £408.50 (Included in that figure is original loan + 1 months interest) What is my first port of call now? Thanks for your help
