  1. Lots of similar posts on ebay sellers forum. Most end in conclusion of maybe ebay is not for us anymore. It seems ebay doesn't listen. I changed user id on ebay due to them trying to repeatedly refund me on a case where seller had already refunded eventually albeit. I rang them and said hey this money is not mine please dont take it from the seller, but they didnt listen, so I changed paypal and ebay account so they couldnt pay it in, if that makes sense. Found out last week they money was returned to ebay on old email, so hope that means the seller got it back. Only about 19.00 but they wouldnt listen insisted on refunding it to me, so I closed the old ebay account to stop them. They seem confused often when have to ring them, so a nightmare for seller and buyer at times. ps. I am a buyer not seller, but read the seller boards anyhow
  2. A cash point did not want to let go of my money, partially jammed at the delivery hole, money was just peeping out. I got my money
  3. Correct best to be honest. I did ask ikea once if they would employ an epileptic and he said well we wouldnt let you drive the fork lifts, hahahahhaha, so I always as much as cant function as want due to seizures live in hope one day things will change, thing is I have been saying that for sixteen years as the medication doesnt do it for me, just when think things are improving I go back to square one. That explains why a lot of epileptics also suffer depression and in my case mental illness which is apparantly linked to same part of the brain xx Sorry for hijacking op, but let us know how you get on as I will no doubt be going through it soon too, best wishes xx
  4. Asking for trouble in what way? It was the silly advice which I didnt follow from a job centre rep some years ago. I am not suggesting that that advice should be given to anyone and I didnt follow it. I am not suggesting such silly advice is routinely given and this was some years ago so a little confused as to why I am asking for trouble? It was some years ago.
  5. Received email from maria saying they are pleased i have finally got my letter and that their position has not changed, also there was no mention of them being unhappy at me naming the member of staff who was involved in the lying to me, they dont seem concerned that their staff are caught out lying. I did point out there were two different signatures on the letters and two different dates which confused me as it was supposed a copy,I therefore dont think they sent the first one or second one as a result. They did say they were sorry how long the letter took and I did reply to be sorry you have to learn by your mistakes, like we all do in life, but sorry paints a thin picture when they couldnt even after attempting to send two letter, send number three by recorded and instead by second class leving me to beg for letter four I believe we are at now. THEY JUST DONT CARE but then again I dont have to deal with them again apart from regulators and court, so I can destress a little xx
  6. Hi I am epileptic. Make sure you point out you need help to go to the toilet when ill and that often incontinent if that is the case of course. There are various rates of recovery also, I watched a programme alright it was an actor, but he had a dog that would spin round and round when a seizure is approaching, he would then collapse and after a few mins spring back to life according to this show anyhow. It did make me wonder wether thats what people expect of an epileptic to jump back to life as if didnt happen, I personally get knocked for six and often incontinent when happens. So make sure you tell them how many times and how long it takes you to recover. I used to work and at first when diagnosed they were sympathetic and as I even though collapsed was refusing to go home, you see I was on my own, work had people there, I would prefer to go to sleep upstairs which had a shower room and then make up my time if was well enough, often they would insist on sending me home in taxi or to nearest hospital. You see I didnt know how not with it I was and on another occassion after smaller fit was making mistakes yet blissfully unaware of the situation, I was on diff planet and then came home had another and ended up in hospital again. As I said employers depending on time of recovery can be sympathetic, but it soon wanes when you are off through illness after being in hospital. Make sure you tell them you cant cook a meal when recovering if applicable of course and need help to toilet. I was told by one dwp some years ago when I wouldnt except I couldnt work anymore and I was saying no one will go near me due to frequency of fits, suggested to omit mentioning the epilepsy to get the job then tell them I had been recently diagnosed to cover myself. I didnt of course. Its a difficult one as I will be going through it soon too and cant see how touching your knees and bending over can show how we are when having a seizure. I did get my son to record me having one to try to understand it myself some years ago and it spooked the hell out of me, I might just take that along and aay you look at it,but I cant. `you see we stand there and unless keel over there and then have two legs and two arms and they dont want to hear doctors reports. One more thing and I know its creapy, but when having the bad ones I stop breathing, often restart on my own but have needed emergency help to get me breathing also, if you have any of the like tell them also. Last time I looked employers didnt like people keeling over and stopping breathing, mine didnt anyhow as nice as they were !!!! ps. On a lighter note, those needles in our bottoms do hurt, youll know what I mean. We wont go into the setting myself on fire whilst trying to cook and putting the clothes in the dishwasher and crockery in the washing machine and managing to turn them on, but when shown what done the following day I swore blind it wasnt me xx Funny on one hand, but frightening on the other. Epileptics are different in their needs as some dont need as much support and can hold down full time work, so as much detail as possible, medical letters etc.... for trubunal should perpare you. Am I the only one who does such odd things when not with it? Keep a diary between now and then of seizues etc.....I just dont think atos can see past their nose. I have heard of a case with epeilptic winning their tribunal so good luck xx
  7. I have learnt from my experience that unless you have agree to change providers, that the responsibility of restoring your services lies with your current provider. I myself on a residential issue was confirmed by ofcom that it is your current provider who should restore it when dont have valid new services planned with the slammer, even if did and cancelled but goes ahead still your current provider should take action. My line had been cut for a second time in error resutling from sky trying to take me over re a cancelled account/takeover. My current provider argued it was not their responsibility and I was now not their customer, so basically go away, very stressfull. I pesisted and eventually they sorted it out my at the time current provider that is if it makes sence. They later added they were new to the telecoms industry and hadnt come accross such a case before, for future reference they were tesco broadband so avoid them like the plague, as I now realise they have been in the telecom industry for some time, so pathetic excuse xx Record the next call to your provider just in case they again say they are not responsible for restoring you line, you could use it later if have to go to ofcom. Put them on notice the call is recorded if they dont action a reinsatement of your services asap that any out of pocket expenses will be claimed from them as in dongle for mobile broadband, mobile phone costs and costs of loss of business, they in turn should go after the slammer for the costs. If they do realise their mistake and restore as soon as they can you should go after the slammer when have the proof of who it is. Ofocm told me to go after current provider. If you get no where with them monday make a complaint to companies regulator xx
  8. Well they say things come in pairs, but this has left me a little confused. The special delivery worked and I received copy of letter dated 25/2 in frank marked envelope 11/3:-D But heres to odd thing, received another frank marked 8/3, second class post paid and guess what the letter is the same but dated 7/3 and the reason they could not provide the track and trace code that they and head office said they would, was because they didnt send it that way, but SECOND CLASS and not recorded. As the second latter is dated 7/3 and the first accurate one received as they sent the wrong letter last time, hahahhahaha, then I can only suppose they never attempted to send a copy of the deadlock letter at all when said they did or surely it would have arrived albeit late. So look at it from my point of view, it could be viewed as a mistake, but again you can only give a company so much grace regarding mistakes that affect you for so long. They have in the past refered to their youth in the telecoms industry in friendly apologies as to why they didnt deal with it as they should have, I suckered it and believed them. I now say to them that they routinely make excuses up in my experience as to failings on part of staff or their billing system and in turn leave their customers at risk of dealing with a rep wise as to their being no true issue, therefore risking customer stress of being viewed as at fault. Why have they not just said look, weve done it again, we didnt send it recorded, why say we cant source the code, well they cant source it because the didnt send it that way, where is the apology, we messed up, because there obviously is a chance of the supposed letter arriving at a later date and the obvioulsy didnt give a **** that I would feel agrieved by them again. Why have I two deadlock letters with two dates and would you believe it the complaints manager has two signatures that are totally different. So the letter supposedly sent but not by recorded delivery due to them fluffing it up prior is not a true copy of the .doc and I will point this out to the regulator along with the wrong letter sent as an example of two things, they say on thing and dont act on it and they are happy to leave the customer chasing and hanging re an issue which extends stress in some sitution and invite them to with the other information I have compare the liklihood that they treat me as they should have as in fairly or did they indeed just lie and show contempt. Farce of a company who I warn you turn nasty when you point out an issue is not your fault, SO AVOID BECAUSE THEY PAINT A FIRST CLASS SERVICE KEEPING YOU INFORMED BUT YOU IN FACT GET SECOND CLASS AND ARE LEFT HANGING, a bit like the letter hey But as it is I now have my letter and can take it further and they of course cannot threaten my line again for their own failings xx ps. I have asked them to remove me from their email system, you see they are informing me that they are soon to send software updates down my line, no thanks, take me off the system tesco, bt broadband seems to not need your help xx
  9. If tesco are in disagreement with any of the above postings I would be happy to talk to them, but you see I recoded the calls, I would be happy to not contact them again about this issue and that of not answering my banks query, but for the fact they have failed to succesfully send the deadlock letter that they like to refer to or answer simple question as in when since 14/12 were you refused as in 23/1 would be next due dd, hhmmm my bank says you didnt apply for the money. xx I dont know the true extent of otellos powers wether they can compesate for out of pocket cost after but relating to having to leave, if they cant it will be court as well or at same time will look into whats best. Just you see last time I looked lying or misleading a customer wasnt a mistake, especially when you know that your biling team think they are dcas when chasing an ammount no matter the issue genuine or not I suspect. I do hope this isnt an issue of michael genuinely telling me what was happening and tesco just reatracting it as fact, i mean they in the supposed deadlock letter clearly say it was untrue.
  10. So I argue tesco should not add up credits for their faults in one basket as excuse for forcing me to have to leave due to this issue and pay more especially knowing my situation personally and not compensating as a result of this situation. Their staff are heard telling me what is wrong. Their head of complaints tells me it was untrue. Therefore I am asking for them to compensate me to end this matter and apologise for blaming me for supposedly after this resolution stopping a dd their end only, that they couldnt find and assumed was cancelled by me without the facts. 14/12 reinstated so bill raised 11/1 or 11/12 even would have had no problem going out if requested in the same manner as august bill succesfully was paid when dd reinstated within a few days of each other as the dd was due and agree for the 23rd of the month.. They managed in august to when reinstated with shorter time frame take the money!!!! Case closed in my view as proof they are in the wrong, I put it to them to apologise and I will accept it. as long as they recodnise what thiis has cost me xx Sorry michael but I really liked and trusted you and you came across genuinely wanting to help me, what happened?
  11. Just received the march bill from tesco, they have put it £0.01:?: So am I to interpret that as the final bill told libel for whilst they didnt give a poop about me paying more to get away from their recent threat, I dunno they havnt had the courtesy to say. Just been looking over my old emails and can confirm the gent who confirmed on more than one occassion that there was a dd fault was: MICHAEL ARROWSMITH of tesco broadband on the email he promised me an action plan to monitor my account that also did not follow through so I had to chase tesco again as a result. Would tesco like to comment on their staff telling me what they later describe as untrue? He is the man who decided end november to reset the bill to zero. He is the same man who kept contacting me later to try to set up alternate dd. He is the same man who said he would ring regulary to check things were going okay, he didnt? I have him taped reassuring me of how to deal with the situation and that he wanted me to be happy before payment was reinstated. I am heard saying do you want me to reinstate the dd, bearing in mind he had also mentioned the supposed fault. I then reinstate the dd 14/12 and it does not go out, hence me ringing them, refering to previous conversation and being treat with contempt basically by billing due to this man not fulfilling his promie re my account and me noticing the dd was not going out. He confirms the dd fault is affecting some customers and will try to over ride the system by setting up another one. So whatever happened re the lines going dead previoulsy, whilst an example of my being let down by tesco they are not the issue relating to non payment of the bill from the last zerod bill. I am heard relating to the dd being told not to reinstate it just yet they want to make sure all is okay!!!!!!!! 14/12 I reinstate it being happy. So for whatever reason their system did not recodnise my dd if the fault did not exist or was not reset properly at thier end or with their banking, it was not my fault and I followed Michaels suggestions. I put it to tesco to look into and listen to what michael told me, they have already confirmed that he did not follow through his promise which would have picked up that the dd had not gone out, as apposed to me ring to speak to him after the billing were nasty to me and disbelieving. The order of events is roughly correct but with my recordings I can put them in order for the authorities. Put it this way tesco this is the man who I as a result despite him comming accross helpful and pleasant led your biling team to disbelieve me, that is the present issue. What did michael actually do re the dd to my account, why didnt at least the new attempted dd appear on my account. Could it be he made a mistake or someone else did on following his instructions. Sad as he was a very helpful and pleasant gent who I had no reason to doubt his words. He even said he would get involved due to what was going on on my account and would liase with billing!!!!. This post is entirely factual and I am happy for tesco to comment. They only have to listen to the various calls between him and me. I mean surely they put notes on my account as to what said to find the call relevant? I seem to suspect there were two member of staff who refered to this fault, but it could have been the same person on seperate occassions, records will source that.
  12. Apparantly the fith most strongest in the world in the last century. Also the other countries waiting to see if a pseunami arrives. Thinking of you xx
  13. Hahahaha funny enough you have just reminded me that my sons arrived a couple of days ago. Got to give it to him. You know mine is the only number that I can remember off by heart:madgrin: Had to put it on every thing when at work, tattood in my head. Pity I wasnt the same with my cash machine number, oohh what was it as I stood there:|
  14. Told me today they are unable to find the track and trace code. Interpreted by me as they didnt send it either by recorded or they didnt send it at all. They are now are you ready for it sending another copy of the letter by special delivery to be received monday at the latest. But of course they havnt provided the track and trace code!!!!!!!!!! I have requested the code, but suspect they might actually be sending this one this time, they would look stupid with another one not arriving as promised:wink: It is also concerning if they have sent the other three letters, where have they gone? Lost count of how many now On a plus side my ebay top arrived okay in two days, very nice too and again 99p!!!!! Deadlock letter promised to me 25/2/2011, we are now 11/3/2011.
  15. Right well what did I expect? First letter doesnt arrive. Second letter contains the wrong letter:lol: Third letter suposedly sent 7/3 by recorded delivery doesnt arrive So they say they will provide track and trace code for last letter to let me check what has happened to it or for the sceptic in me, that it was actually posted, and they after two days have not managed to do it !!!!!:-x They are pathetic and as I said before you couldnt make it up. Hey maybe my deadlock letter has gone to the same place as missing direct debit request Tell you one thing I can guarantee, they normally issue their bills on the 11th of the month. Whos betting what will arrive promptly in my in box tommorow that I dont have to chase? A BILL:jaw: Will I this time be ringing them up and begging them to sort payment, nope they can just deduct it from what they owe me Royal mail has not lost another letter, sorry I have to assume that tesco broadband and home phone have pressed the wrong button AGAIN or just said one thing and not done it once more According to little britain computers say no. I think in this case its tesco staff dont know their job or how to follow through a descision without inconvinience to a customer.
  16. Finally got myself a belated xmas pressy to me a seksy watch. Daughter has just dropped it from a great height, ooooohhhhhhhhh nooooooooo:| Poor things off on the sick and coughed with a vengence the watch hence went a flying.
  17. OOh that sounds good. I am still waiting for kill bill 3, considering bill is dead, I presume it will be about the kid comming after her. I do like uma thurmans role in that.
  18. Just off the phone from a lovely man at my bank confirming all the facts and what my bank can put in writing to support me, and its looking good. That poor bank has had to deal with me ringing to suspend and reinstate at odd times of the day in reaction to a call either from or to tesco re their threats on my line due to one thing or another out of my control.. You see I am not a person who can leave things and would depending on the call ring the bank straight away re reinstating as happy or suspending as in no service or messed up biiling. These dates are infact a good indication of the linked calls which will be on my recorder as to how prompt I acted and linked to what told. So I am sorry tesco but you are fighting a losing battle re against a badly misled and let down customer who just cant let go till you are either apologetic and compensate or found wrong and made to admit it and compensate and until you do my thread will continue. Remember sky when the slammed my line tesco you were happy to laugh with me about how could they not know it was them responsible, you had a good titter then, you see they knew and just wanted you to deal with it your end and hoped I would go away as not their customer... `You see they were not making any money out of their mistake at the time and not interested, but they later apologised. You are doing the same aware of how you have treat me and dont care till made to admit fault. NEWSFLASH people: 13.00pm Tesco apparantly are still trying to source the code, but are you ready its a different dept so they are having to wait I presume on them. I have warned them for their benefit of the problem within different depts I mean one says this one says that, one says rubbish not true. So we have to be understanding that they are so so struggling to get the code. VIOLINS ARE PLAYING and I am crying for them, NOPE 17.22pm Still no track and trace code, hey they couldnt be telling me porkies sending it, could they?
  19. Its a sad situation that anything sold or advised now either needs to be confirmed in writing or recorded for record if like me has memory problems. Anotherwords we cant trust what told verbally. There are issues with all providers in some shape or form. Insist on what you were told, ask them to listen to the call which should have been recorded when a transaction or contract is ordered. I am sure it could be found if you said we did not order anything:lol: You can make a subject access request to the provider concerned and especially ask for screeshots and transcripts of calls regarding what was agreed. Could it be this rep said it was able to spread the payments to sign you up not worrying about you finding out later you had been misled? Hopefully not and this is a simple miscomunication. I would email or write a letter of coplaint and if that is rebutted get the subject access request. There are problems with all providers, it depends on the integrity of that compnay if they want to keep your business wether they care or not to sort it xx
  20. They have just emailed me once more saying they have told me they are looking for the information for me and they will not talk further due to it being at deadlock. So where is the track and trace code that surely would be on my file as we requested it sent by that method, surely they keep a record of documents sent by that method. Personally I dont believe a word they say and would happily eat my own **** if they are able to prove they sent a recorded delivery letter off on monday as promised. You see they are lying and I put it to them to prove me wrong. No surely not two tesco depts lying, surely not. I mean they have admitted the dd fault was untrue and I personally dont think they think I have recordings, I think they think if that makse sence that I am bluffing. Truecall I love you xx Dont woryy I am not going over the edge, in fact I now with bt feel in control again, that doesnt take away the stress and that is still there feeling I have to prove I did no wrong and only followed their instructions and was maybe foolish in trusting them at all, when they told me they had an issue with my alarm after being sold contract that could support it, I should have left. Thing is when not well one of my problems is I am toooo trusting, I trust people, when they say they are saving me money or I am stupid not to go for something or they are more simply in this case dealing with it and especially due to them being aware of previous distress going to monitor my account and then say we reaslise this was not also done, then I feel belittled and low. Time to fight back then maybe the stress will go.
  21. Try to calm down and see that solicitor. Take it one step at a time, take a deep breath and say I am not going to let it worry me for now. Have a read of other similar threads refered to. Also a great help on here is erika, she maybe along later. ps. I know saying calm down might sound easier said than done, but you have to, concentrate on seeing that solicitor, you will get through this.
