Does anyone know the name and best address for the chief excec, or such like for HSBC. This is for a complaint I am going to make for someone else re irresponsible lending. Thanks
  4. Yet another example of one of these greedy firms harassing someone, who is making payments, and ending up with nothing.
  5. Thats right mr ton, the phone monkeys say to me, I'm calling from so and so, as if that is some kind of gaurantee of honesty, I reply Scooby Doo. They usually hang up at that.
  6. The law of common sense, why would anyone give info to a complete stranger.
  7. Cabot phoned me for the 140th time today, the phone monkey said they would send me a letter, Ive been asking to be contacted by letter only, from phone call 1. What are the odds that the letter will just ask me to phone them?
  8. Can you take out an injunction against a bank to stop them phoning you? If you can, how do you go about it? How much does it cost? Are there any fee exemptions available? Thanks
  9. I contacted them a while ago with a few to opening an account with them , they quoted me 3 days delivery.
  10. what was the debt for and how much? It was a credit card debt for 18K. From my own bitter experience I know that charging orders are granted even though the debtor is paying a CCJ
  11. I would like to add my experiences of charging orders. I admitted a debt and a CCJ was recorded against me. I always paid what the judge had said I should. The creditor took me to court again for a charging order, I defended it but the judge ruled in the creditors favour and a charging order was placed on my house. At the time I was on benefits, my circumstances hadn't changed and I always paid what I was supposed to.
  12. My phone stores the last 20 calls received, don't know how I could use that, besides they were using a witheld number
  13. I had 10 phone calls in 20 mins from Link, that is a PW, what is yours?
  14. AMEX DN 1 picture by keithw44 - Photobucket AMEX DN 2 picture by keithw44 - Photobucket 2 pages of the DN hope I have uploaded them correctly. It's an AMEX credit card, I haven't received any statements since May '06, since then the Balance has gone up by £800, it has been with RMA, UCA, Westminsters and now Newman and Co
  15. I haven't got the envelope, it looks as though I won't get any help with a dodgy default notice and I'll just have to rely on no agreement.
  16. Thanks for the reply, what I'm trying to find out is when did it change from 7 days to 14 days.
  17. I've got a DN dated 9/6/06, it only allows 10 days to pay the arrears, I read somewhere that the time allowed used to be 7 days, in June '06 would it be 7 or 14 days? Thanks
  18. If a firm posted a letter using UK Mail on a Thursday when would it be expected to be delivered?
  19. I might be clutching at straws but if the date on the DN is 19/3/09 a Thursday, if you allow 2 working days for service Friday and Monday, that takes it to Tuesday 24th, 14 days from then is 6/4/09. They say in the DN, you must pay by 6/4/09, is this the same as saying , you must pay before 6/4/09. Taking the dates and the service into account is the DN defective, also is it defective in any other way? Any and all comments welcome Lloyds DN 1 picture by keithw44 - Photobucket
  20. What are the implications if they don't send you statements every 6 mths, and does this apply to accounts taken out pre 2006 Thanks
  21. Many thanks for the replies. I haven’t received a default notice or any statements for at least 2 years. I’ve already CCA’d them, they sent the current terms and conditions, nothing signed by me or them. I don’t know how much is arrears because I haven’t been receiving statements and I haven’t received a default notice. The balance has gone up by over 2K in the last 2 years, I’ve no idea how they’ve calculated it. I was hoping that by the solicitors asking for the full balance they had in affect terminated the account without issuing a default notice. Any more helpful comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  22. Can they still add on arrears when you are on a payment plan?
