My tickets not arriving for my long awaited holiday on Sunday. After phoning bransons lot and giving them a load of f**cks they have said they will courier them tomorrow. God I hope those customer service tw**s are on basic minimum wage..........they don't deserve any more:mad: What a sh*t month this has been. I will be glad to go away and get totally pi**ed for 14 days! They will have to carry me back onto that plane.

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. I was praying for the last week that she would go to sleep and not wake up as she was in so much pain. I wanted her to keep her pride and dignity as she was rapidly loosing that. I was actually in Hull addressing a Conference from Monday to Wednesday and only arrived home at 8pm. My sister says she waited for me coming home to be with her. I don't know if this is true or not but I would llike to think so. Half an hour after getting to her bed and talking to her she passed over. Her funeral is on Wednesday so please think of my family that day. Thank you all again xx

This is a thank you to Latty who ran the race for the cancer. One of the names on her shirt was 'Ruby' , my mum, who sadly passed away this morning with secondaries in her liver, kidney and spine. My Mum was one of the most gentle, intelligent and respected women you could ever wish to meet. She is finally pain free and has gone to agrue with my Dad again after 20 years apart. Think of the ear bashings he is going to get !! God Bless xx

Thought I would update this thread. I received a letter on Friday morning to say that I had scored high on my points (?) and that I would not have to complete any more forms until 2012. My benefits will continue until that time. Thank god for that but I would have taken it further if they had failed me. Many thanks once again for the help. JB:D

Update on 'doorstep olymicis' 4 weeks ago..............finally decided that pain in the left foot was too much so went to A&E for xray.........foot broken ! Well that is all I need as I am off on my long await trip to Barbados in 5 weeks. I am now going to lye down in a dark room with a vast amount of valium until it is time to pack .............that way I just may get on the plane in one piece

After my attempt at the 'doorstep olympics' 4 weeks ago when I landed in one of plant pots, I was walking around Barcelona last Wednesday when the said right leg decided to see if I had perfected my 'landing'! Once again I landed like a heap of cr*p but in the middle of the chuffing road ! I feel I should now apologise for the hand gestures and 'advanced french language' that I used to the drivers who were 'pipping' at me PS anyone got the number for the 2012 team ?

Hi, Like many other people I have had to complete a new assessment form for IS. I also receive DLA - High Mobility, Middle Care. I completed the said forms and sent them back some 6 weeks ago but have heard nothing since. I am on quite high doses of morphine at times and inject a cancer drug weekly along with a long list of other medications. Will I have to be seen by one of their Doctors ? If so, when will I hear from them ? Or do you think they will accecpt my statement and completed form ? Many thanks JB
