I am with Bookie and SSL I LOVE IT. Have just got back from holiday where it was 30 degrees everyday and feel like I am now on extended holiday ! Like some of you I sleep with a fan on during the night but I am still on holiday time so no problems sleeping. Wonderful ................

Hi, My uncle had this treatment early last year and went through it no problem. He could not be in contact with pregnant women and babies for a short while afterwards but he is now on 12 monthly checkups. I will be thinking of you and your family and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Just shout if I can be of any help at all. Hugs JB

Thank you Bookie for the amazing insight into the problems T and yourself and family are facing trying to claim a benefit which you should automatically receive and not have to fight for. This just confirms what I thought all along.... that you are one amazing lady. This benefit should be automatic for children facing problems and issues with everyday life like T. Keep up the fight. I recently had a visit from my MP David Borrow. I asked him into the lounge and then sat him down and started to ask what are they going to do about Crime and Prisons. I know that he is a member of the Criminal Justice Board. I also know for a fact that budgets have been cut dramatically in the Prison Service and at present jobs are being lost but still people are going to prison. So who is going to supervise these people or are they going to be left to run amok ? He was rather embarrased with my knowledge and asked if 'they' (Labour) won the election would I go and see him personally and discuss this issue! I replied he could answer my question now but he said he had no time !! So it looks like no change for the Crime Bill then......

What made me swear....on checking my bank account an extremely large amount of money from a house sale (5 weeks ago) has still not gone in . I spoke to Solicitor last week and she promised it would be in by last weekend and still no sign of it ! Guess who is going to get a round of f**ks this morning

It would be no good for me and mine as we have dogs and I smoke ! but I would love to spend sometime up there for the peace and quiet. Have finally made the decision to go away for a couple of weeks of sunshine at the end of the month. Going back to a lovely hotel I have been to before where there are no kids, own private beach and waiters bringing drinks every hour to you on the beach. The only problem I will have is sitting up to take the drink from their hand ! Bring on the 29th

Sunflower... it really is worth going for the mamogram if you are asked. The pain soon passes (get yourself to Asda!) and it is better to be safe than sorry. I have a family history so now have to have it done every 12 months but I will be going no matter what (might try tesco next time!!)

I had to see the Breat Cancer specialist last week and he asked me to have another mamagram which I did. Those ladies who have had this done will know the pain it can cause and more so after you have just had your boobs squeezed to within a inch of your life by the Consultant. Anyway, when I left the hospital my left boob was throbbing so I went to ASDA and opened one of the chest freezers and put my boob inside! My daughter was mortified and said I was a 'lurking perv' but my boob felt a hell of a lot better I also regularly go shopping in my Pjs and slippers....at my age no one questions you they just give you a sympathetic look Needless to say my daughter will not go shopping with me now.......
