Crossie1,

Hi there is a few ways to do this but I think this will get you the money back without court cases.

Follow the guidelines within the FAQ section (keep to the timescales)

1 dpa letter (allow 40 days for response)

2 charges refund letter (allow 14 days)

3 Letter before you take action against the bank (allow 14 days)

When you receive the final offer or final word from the bank fill out the complaint form for the financial Ombudsman Service and they will get your charges back.

Make sure you keep copies of all letters, dates of telephone calls, any names of anyone you talk to over the phone or post your letters to. Start to build your case from day 1 it will help in the end

Advice given is purely my opinion, and is not based on any legal training.

BOS Credit Card...........................Hearing Date 07/02/07

Full Settlement..............................13/02/07

BOS Bank Account .........................total charges £8,655.92

2nd offer.............................................£3255.00 03/01/07 Rejected

Exactly right!!

You don't want to go to court on this one, the amount your claiming is too high. Let the Ombudsman do the work for you - that's what its there for.

HAVE YOU BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY BY CREDITORS OR DCA's?

BEWARE OF CLAIMS MANAGEMENT COMPANIES OFFERING TO WRITE OFF YOUR DEBTS.
