  1. Oc? What about the amounts that need entering into the foscisheet and default library letter. You will have to excuse me I'm not up on the abbreviations.
  2. Hi, I'm just finalising a few things before sending. The Foscisheet only has PPI payments on it or does this also include Late charges applied to this account, please not Late charges only incured since I stopped making payments due to mis sold PPI. *EDIT Also within the credit card default library letter I take it that I am just quoting the fees in late charges that they have taken with the current intrest rate of 17.9% if I am right? I am sending the Credit card default to TSB but what about the foscisheet? Thanks Nathan
  3. I'm just filling out the CC complaint letter. Its asking for me to describe what happened when I took out the PPI, shall I describe the whole i was told i was covered for being self employed or just state I didnt know I was buying it and they pre entered a "X" in the box? EDIT* -> Also which intrest rate do I enter? Is it the Intrest rate on the CC statements at the time? Thanks Nathan
  4. Double checked and its definitly a pre entered "X" from a computer not by hand. Whats next? Thanks Nathan
  5. I definitely didn't enter it you can see the state of my hand writing. I'll have to double check to see if it is pre entered or the member of staff entered it. It says the ppi terms are on the application but I don't see them.

  7. For some reason it wont let me edit the page. Ill just upload it here... I've got the application form and I've got the credit checks. One thing I have noticed in the credit checks are the reason codes on the checks are not listed in the information booklet listing all the reason codes. There are 3 applications in total 1, £1000 Loan, Decision Refer, 045 & 080. Employment Retired 99years 99months Income £0 2, £1500 Loan, Decision Refer, 045. Employment Employed Unknown Income £0 3, £2000 CC, Decision Accept, 601. Employement Unkown 99years 99Months Income £10400 All seems a bit odd.
  8. What do I do next, I have the SAR in front of me and need pointing in the right direction. Cheers Nathan
  9. Received final response letter stating that I do not have the right to claim my PPI back. Also received my SAR back from them, what should be the next step? Thanks so much for the help so far, I really appreciate it.
  10. Just called them on the 0845 0707 124, straight through to a very helpful lady who confirmed all the details and added that I want statements. Best service so far from Lloyds.
  11. Received a letter from Lloyds regarding the SAR, they have aknowledged they have all the information and I should receive what I have requested by the 14th of January, they have also stated if I require statements to get in touch? Surely they dont think I just want to know what products I've had from them for £10? Still waiting on the final response letter too for the ppi.
  12. Still no final decision letter from Lloyds, been on the phone again this morning and asked them whats going on? 10th October first letter was sent out, 20th November second letter sent out and I'm yet to receieve any. I asked her could she email me the letter she said no but was willing to tell me what it said. The letter states not enough evidence to issue me any kind of refund and that I should contact the FO. Edit) Still awaiting response from the SAR.
  13. Seems you was right dx100uk, they returned the cheque with a covering letter and another form to request to send it to a branch of my choice. One thing I find strange is, I sent the cheque payable to blank as I wasnt sure who to make it payable to. They have returned it but scribbled Halifax across where you would write the payees name. Odd! Nathan
  14. Maybe a mis communication between me and the "Mrs", I'll have to double check when I get home but your probably right about collecting with id from a branch. I'm naffed off with not having received the final decision yet, they explained they send 2nd class but I send items out daily using 2nd class and have yet to see any of my items take 7 - 10 days.
  15. Still not received my letter with the final decision, rang them again and was told it could take seven to ten days. Today is the ninth and still nothing. Receieved numerous phonecalls and letters from Marlin, I simply said I do not wish to speak to them regarding this account as I have yet to finish communications with Lloyds regarding it. Also receieved the SAR back from Lloyds explaining due to me not having a iopen account with them I can only go into a branch to obtain such information.
  16. Have you recently tried to reclaim your ppi?
  17. Sent the SAR off today 1st Class recorded to Lyn Cook DSAR Team, Lloyds TSB BANK PLC, Customer Service Recovery, Charlton Place, Andover, SP10 1RE Thanks very much for your time in helping me try to resolve this once and for all.
  18. I am not sure of the amount of the PPI as I have never been able to request such information with lloyds being unable to give me the account number. I very much doubt it. Thanks for the response greatly appreciated.
  19. Hi all, I'll aplogise now for such a long winded post. In 2006 I had a credit card with Lloyds with PPI, I went to claim and I couldnt because I was self employed. Now I started proceedings back then to claim back this PPI, after a long drawn out process I gave in and never heard from Lloyds again. As I got wiser and older I realised they had infact just defaulted the account on my credit file. I wasn't best impressed and contacted Lloyds to continue trying to get my PPI back and any charges squashed. However Lloyds was now telling me that they had no information what so ever regarding this account, they searched my name, my address and any linked accounts to my current account. They said it didnt exist. I left it again until one day I received a letter regarding PPI and outstanding balances, it basically stating if i claim PPI they will take it off the balance of what I owe them. This letter however had the account number on it. I've filed for the PPI back and receieved a letter confirming they are looking into it. I even received a phonecall asking me further information about my self employment, they wanted to know how long before the card was I self employed. Roughly 12 Months. I receieved a letter on the 10th of Oct, this just acknoledged that I had made a complaint. Now I have just receieved a letter from Lloyds explaining they have sold the debt on followed by one from Marlin Europe explaining that they are now the people to speak to regarding this debt. I rang Marlin in a bit of a rage explaining the situation, the bloke on the other end seemed to know is job very well and pressed the right buttons to push me into further rage. I finished the call and I rang lloyds, lloyds said they had sent me out a final decision on the 20th of Oct which I never received. Marlin are chasing the exact amount as Lloyds defaulted me on so it looks as if I have been unsuccesful in claiming back the PPI. Since contacting Marlin they have rang me several times both on my mobile and on my business line. Any ideas on what to do next?
  20. I don't want a replacement unless they have something I like, I'm not willing to just pick a sofa for the sake of it. They will not offer me a refund and I can only choose a replacement of the same value or more.
  21. Hi all, I'd like to see just what other people in the "know" think about this. I purchased a sofa from DFS on Finance. Within 4 days I had issued a complaint and they sent someone out to try and fix the problem, they didnt. Four times they had to return to try and fix the problem without any success. I rang the store manager and told him enough was enough, he asked to come and see it. He came out to view the sofa and agreed to exchange it for a new one or replace it for a total different sofa. Firstly I dont want another item that could turn out to be faulty because it means going through all this again, I appreciate it may never become faulty but I'm not willing to take the risk. Secondly we have spent several months now looking and trying new models out. We have yet to find one we can agree on. The problem lies in that the store manager claims it has to be of the same value or more, but that only leaves us an handful of sofas to choose from. My argument is why cant I choose one for another room of a lower value and go elsewhere to purchase one for my lounge? I'm obviously not going to spend £3000 on a sofa for the spare room to keep DFS happy. I asked the store manager what happens if I never find one that I like to replace the faulty one I've got and he says I have to make a decision now. I find this unfair, what do you think?
  22. Hi all, Been doing a little research before taking any actions. Im claiming all my charges back on two accounts Current account and Credit Card account. I have completed the first part of the claims procedure by filling in the DPA Subject Access Request. This will be sent tomorrow, whats the best way to send letters? Recorded? Also since opening my Credit Card account back in December 2005, I opted for the insurance. £16 a month if I'm not mistaken, now back in May I asked to use this insurance and was told I was unable to use it because I will still employed. Now before I signed for the card I specifically asked if I could use this insurance even if still employed due to my employment being comission based, the lady in the bank answerd yes of course you can. Now I know this was rubbish and that the insurance was a waste of time/money. How can I go about claiming this money back? The bank say they can't do anything about this matter because they don't believe there staff would have told me such a thing. And to make a formal complaint. Thanks in advance. Nathan
  23. Hello, Just found a link to this site and I'm already hoping of getting some money back. Just wondering where to start really, any advice the bank in question is lloyds. Thanks
