  1. Welcome, and good luck (not that you'll need it). There are many threads about claiming over the six year limit, so make sure you read them all carefully and have a good idea of how to go about it. Start your own thread in the Natwest forum and let us know how you get on. Spot
  2.  And thats the day the devil will be ice skating to work!
  3. They can trade under a slightly different name. HL legal - liquidated H L Legal - trading. Am still trying to dig a little deeper into this company. HL Legal owe money to HMRC!!
  4. They are not a registered firm of solicitors either! Please wait until you have something in writing from them and then post back here. Spot
  5. And have been for the last 10 years!!!!
  6. Dont phone them!!!! They appear to be Legal Advisors based in Basingstoke. Also just cgecked on Companies House website and they are supposed to be a dormant company, which means they shouldn't be making any phone calls!!! Ignore them. If you get any paperwork from them, please let me know. Spot
  7. Ah, should have looked closer at the CH website! Apex Credit Management became BCW Group Limited on 4 July 2006. BCW Group Limited then became BCW Group plc on 20 July 2006. Stivis will email those accounts tonight. Spot
  8. Received in the post today..................an acknowledgement that they were defending the claim, opened next letter..............cheque for £55.40. I won, am happy!!!!!!!! Chinese for tea tonight!!, Cheers Black Horse!!
  9. I have the names and addresses of their directors if you are interested.
  10. There is something fishy going on with BCW. Am looking into it and will post back here. In the meantime, just wait for AK to get back to you...............which may take some time!!!
  11. I have to disagre with this. Please do not set up a direct debit with any DCA. Theey are renowned for 'accidently' taking more than required!! Either ask for a payment book or set up a standing order where you are in control of what gets paid to a creditor. Personally, I wouldn't send them anything other than your payment. They have no right to ask you to supply such personal information. Please remember that DCA's have no more rights than anyone else, and you wouldn't go up to a stranger in the street and give them all this info!! Set up a standing order or pay with a payment book. If £50 is what you can afford to pay, then thats all you will pay. They will not take you to court because, even though they are muppets, even they know that they would be laughed out of court. Good luck and don't take any nonsense from them!! Spotnot. ps There is a telephone harassment letter which you can send which should theoretically stop the phone calls.
  12. When I type in BCW Group on CH webdite it comes up with Apex's accounts. In their accounts it states that they are a 100% subsidiary of BCW group. If you pm me your email address I'll send you a copy of their accounts. Spotnot
  13. Buchanan Clark & Wells - status non trading. Written in accounts. " This company was dormant throughout this financial period" No activity in accounts
  14. Probably, but the director must be seen to be acting with the utmost integrity and will obviously have no knowledge of what his hoodlum employees are up to!! According to Company Law, a director must see that the practices of his business are within the Law and that the employees of the business must act within the Law at all times. If an employee is seen acting outside the law, while working for the company, the Director can ultimately be held responsible. Almost impossible to prove, however!! Spotnot
  15. Allied International Credit : non compliance with CCA request. Well, well, well AIC have once again reared their ugly heads! Telephone message left wanting me to call them as soon as I got their message!! Methinks that they will be waiting a long time!
  16. When checking your credit file, does it not say who issued the CCJ? If not, write to the Credit reference agencies asking for more info. Get this info, post in the Debts and Baillifs section and we'll help you from there! But if you have not received anything regarding this CCJ there are ways to take action. There are many threads in the Legalities forum and in the Debts forum. While you are waiting for your info from the Credit reference agencies, read as much as you can. Spotnot
