Hi Geteven Well I rang the Court yesterday, and they told me I had to send a letter to them advising how long I thought my case might take, I had to get it to them by the 8th, so luckily the 8th is not the court date. I have heard nothing from the Solicitors at all. How are you doing? Barty

Thanks Paul, I will give them a ring first thing Monday. Wow that date is only just over a week away, scarey stuff!! :o

Hi Everyone I have received a letter from the Courts today, and I wondered if anyone had any ideas what it means???? It basically says: "Upon reading the file, its ORDERED that both partners do file a time estimate for the final hearing on 8th August" Help! Barty

Hi My AQ deadline is the 19th as well, I've took mine into court this morning. I received the same AQ from Lloyds TSB as you also, with the witness and the extra time thing. Is it Sechiari, Clark and Mitchell the Solicitors? I will keep an eye on your thread, as we have identical deadlines at the moment.
-
Just a quick update, I received a copy of the Bank's Allocation Questionaire yesterday with a letter asking me to send them (the Solicitors) a copy of my AQ, is this normal practice?? I haven't taken my AQ to the court yet, as I was struggling to find the £100 fee, but I have it now and will take it tomorrow.

Akerman v Lloyds TSB **Full Settlement offered **
BARTY replied to topgeeza's topic in LloydsTsb Successes
Hi Its 14 days from the date the claim was filed for them to adknowledge, and then they have a further 14 days to submit their defence, so in total they have 28 days from when claim was filed to submit their defence. Hope this makes sense! -
I have received a copy of the Defence and the Allocation Questionaire on the 1st July, I've got until 19th to return it. I've been reading about Reload's victory, really excellent news, a great inspiration for us all!!
-
I've just checked on the Moneyclaim website, and they have entered a defence, so I guess I will receive that in the post today or tomorrow?
-
Thanks Reload, hope you're right! The solicitors on my case are the Mitchell ones. This is getting really exciting now!
-
Just a quick update, well not really as nothing has happened yet, I have not received the defence from Lloyds TSB and they only have until Monday. Do you think there is any chance of them not entering a defence and me winning by default? I bet they are just keeping me waiting til the last minute.
-
Lloyds TSB have acknowledged the claim on 7th June, they intend to defend all of the claim, so they have until 3 July (is that right, 28 days from 5th June when claim was served??) to file their defence.
-
Thanks, I hope it is that easy!

Hi Filed with Money Claim today, £1737 plus court costs. Wish me luck!! Barty
