  1. Yes Caro I did it was riding on the back of that unicorn. Note to self must stop eating those mushrooms:o
  2. I would send another cheque Stycks with a letter explaining what had happened. But don`t panic:eek: Jules xxxx
  3. Richard , If you keep going past the N150 form , there is the template for the N149 at the bottom of the page.Sounds to me like you didn`t read far enough down the page, don`t worry. Jules xxxx
  4. Zebbydog, I have also had my cases transferred to Leeds from Wakefield. Welcome to the club:). Another one for Leeds eh Caro? Does it say Leeds County Court or Leeds Combined Court Zebbydog? Jules
  5. Nice to know that each case is being fully looked into and given the personal touch!!!!! NOT!! Jules
  6. Here you go Richard Use Jonni2bad`s guide it is very helpful just click the link it will take you straight there http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/11644-allocation-questionnaires-guide-completion.html Good luck and any more help needed just post back in here Jules
  7. Exactly as I said in last post Nogga dont worry this is totally normal and just a tactic to keep your money in their pockets rather than yours that bit longer Jules
  8. Hi Nogga, Sorry to sound pesimistic but in all likelyhood YB will submit a defence and drag this out as long as possible . They will also make a lame attempt to offer you a percentage of what you are claiming in the hope you will accept.Stick to your guns and see it through to the end. Any help or advise needed there are plenty of very helpful members here to assist but some of them only come out when its dark(Caro ) Jules xxxx
  9. FANTASTIC NEWS BOTTOMBURP (Sorry I`m still giggling like a girl) Well done another one bites the dust and sticks it right up the Yorkshire Bank:o Don`t be a stranger in chat , its your round in there:p Being a suspicious so and so I would still check for myself over the next couple of months that no detrimental information has been passed to the CRA`s. Congratulations again Jules xxxx
  10. Hi Jaxxxx, This all seems very suspect , personally I would ask this Mr Rogers himself how he came by the information you were starting your action against YB. I may be wrong but surely there is a breach of Data Protection somewhere or a lack of confidentiality by Royal Mail etc. Would be very interested to hear Mr Rogers answer to you. Keep us informed Jules
  11. Hi Deanus, I would advise sending a letter of rejection to their £1246 offer ststing that you WILL be continuing with court proceedings on the 18th December unless they are willing to make you a revised offer for the FULL amount including costs incurred and 8% interest to the date of payment. Do not sign/return the letter of discontinuance. Also agreed Yorkshire seem to be the hardest nut to crack (don`t I know it) but stick with it you will get what is is rightfully yours. Just in case the Yorkshire decide to close your account (and they do) make sure you have provisions of a parachute account if you have not already and read Trundlecats thread regarding default notices issued against YB customers. Good luck on the 18th , although YB will settle before then. Jules
  12. Caro , Bad link on the Financial Ombudsman error 404 tut tut Jules:p
  13. Hi Jeccle, Don`t worry , as bottomburp(sorry still makes me laugh when you come in chatroom) says send all future correspondance direct to your local branch and get some kind of proof they have received it. All my letters were hand delivered to my local branch and i got the counter staff to do me a hand written dated and timed receipt. Your branch will pass everything onto head office. Don`t be put off as this will be the first of many delaying/intimidatary tactics the YB use to get you to settle for less than your full amount claimed. Stick with it and don`t be embarresed to ask for help. Jules
  14. Hi Sonic, I am at "waiting for court date" stage so if you need any help don`t hesitate to ask. Jules
  15. Not sure Stycks But if they pass it on to collections(i.e for your overdraft) the account is in dispute so they cannot take money from you straight away. Always best to open a parachute account , I have one with the Halifax from when I had my mortgage with them so I`m sorted. Also hi to Ladykenco I`m assuming you are a Wakey`ite too , more power to us lol.Don`t think it`ll make them pay any quicker though the YB seem to be the most stubborn and sneaky of all the banks being claimed against. Good luck to you all if I can help in any way I will try my best. Jules
  16. Hi Styks, You can still hand in your S.A.R at your baranch, I did. Just make sure you get some kind of receipt. Good to see another fellow Wakey member shoving it up the YB If you need any help let me know , I am so far at the "waiting for a court date" stage.I will help you as much as I can , as will everyone on here. Jules
  17. Count me in........ Don`t know if any of you have seen the tactics used against me by the Yorkshire Bank(Clydesdale) feel free to take a look. lhttp://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/yorkshire-bank-clydesdale-bank/26725-jules-yorkshire-bank.html Stupidity or clever????? You decide.:-| Jules
  18. A.Q handed in 6/11/06 for joint account (the one Miss Ross said was settled) . Talking to girl on counter (who is also claiming her charges tee hee) and she says the reason my own account case has been transferred to Leeds is because the Judge wants to deal with all the claims in the area . No fee for this A.Q (thank god as I am skint) Soooooo I will just sit back and wait for a silly offer from Yorkshire Bank and carry on as normal. BTW Caro come and see us in The Bear Garden (a bit earlier in the evening ,what are u a vampire???) Jules
  19. Hi Trunny, I followed your claim closely and now thank you for your warning. Thanks to people like you , PJ and Caro I have been spurred on to go up against YB Kepp us posted Jules
  20. Hi Caro, Don`t know if this is of any helpto you but..... As you know I am claiming against Yorkshire Bank for two accounts .One is my own account and the other is joint (me and the missus). To avoid any confusion/delay I included both our names on the N1 and also put the wording at the bottom "Mr Julian Roy Siddle (also acting in the interests of Mrs Lisa Dawn Siddle)" So far there has been no query by either YB or the court as to the technicalities of a joint account claim. Hope this is of some help Jules
  21. Hi PurpleSilk, Dont panic , just re-send your letter with a schedule of charges and trat this as starting afresh. This shouldn`t prejudice your claim and their threat of counterclaim is pretty standard and nothing to worry about. Please start a thread in the Yorkshire Bank area of this forum so everyone can follow your progress and assist you. Good Luck we`re all behind you Jules
  22. Zoo/Ash, I have sat here for 5 minutes wondering what to say that has not already been said. You have helped so many people on this site ,including myself,(and countless hours on the phone to people) out of the overwhelming kindness of your own heart. Please call chat in at every opportunity, you will always be welcome. Good luck in everything you and your family do you deserve the best of everything in life. JulesTools and Lisa(Mrs JulesTools)
  23. Update ......... Went to court on the morning of 20th october just to make sure that Yorkshires request for a strike out hearing had been declined and it had..........Boo beginning to wish I had not sent letter to court explaining cheque had not been cashed or accepted and just turned up on the day to smear egg all over Yorkshires faces. Any Ho.. Received letter from court saying that on the 16th of October Judge Glentworth decided that my case will be transferred from Wakefield County Court to Leeds County Court. If I wish to object to this I have to respond within 7 days I think. Don`t mind the case going there as it is only about another 6 miles away and dont want to delay the case anymore than I have to.I am expecting Yorkshire to object just for the sake of it as another delaying tactic , but hey who cares , the clock is ticking and the interest adding up!!! Sorry for the late update(Caro:rolleyes:)will try to keep on top of things a bit better. Good luck with your claim too Callyday if I can help you in anyway don`t hesitate to ask.
