  1. Hi DX I got all the statements from HSBC for the overdraft and took these to FOS and they felt the charges were fair and reasonable. I have not got that with the CC. From a CCJ perspective I am continuing to pay but if they have not changed ownership of CCJ with the court in say 6 weeks do I have options
  2. Thanks I don't really understand how I can stop being cash cowed with a CCJ against me I tried to get charges reduced by First direct went to FOS they found for them and no record of PPI
  3. Quite a long story but would really appreciate advice. First Direct card and overdraft debt from 2011 both of which defaulted and were sold to Metroplitan Credit services, then Sigma then MKDP. MKDP obtained a CCJ for the outstanding balance of £7300. I reached an agreement with them to pay £100 per month when they took me to court. 2014. I have continued to pay £100 each month recently I was informed by MKDP that they had sold the debt to Robinson Way / Hoist. I continued to make payments and now have been asked to transfer the payments to Robinsons Way balance stands at £5700. This CCJ is the last debt I have outstanding and I have cleared virtually everything off my credit file over the past 6 months thanks to lots of help from reading posts on these sites. I have been informed by Robinson way that their solicitors will be changing the entry on my credit file for the CCj to reflect them as new owners. Is there any way I can get this thing removed and move on from what was a very difficult period. Thanks in advance for any advice
  4. ThanksMinded to accept as total charges were £720, therefore they have removed £220 and refunded nearly £300. Was hoping for £500 but probably being greedy
  5. I had a similar situation with Lending Stream, after reading some of the success stories on other posts, I complained to Lending Stream and have recieved full redress fromthem and a promise of default removal.I had also complained to MMF about the way they were reporting defaults on two accounts one of which was LS, they did not respond and I went to FOS, who have ruled in my favour with £75 compensation and removal of deafults from the CRA's.
  6. Made a complaint to varooma about affordability and charges. Very quick response and they offered to write off remaining balance £230 approx. although I have paid over £6k on a £3k loan. Replied that not acceptable and have come back with Offer of approx £300 goodwill gesture. Not sure whether to accept would like to hear from others who have complained to varooma and other log book lenders
  7. many thanks will do.Also happy to share my success so far.I have followed the examples given and cmplained to 11 dayday companies.first response from Lending stream who replied very quickly and have refunded £600 after i pointed out they had failed to send me a default notice and also delayed speaking to me about my default. Was really suprised by the speed of response from them although they are pretty useless at administering there customer services.and certainly when you speak to them they have no idea.Have had a rejection from WDA but now with FOS.Awaiting response from 7 others
  8. I have read this thread with interest over the past few months and it has spurred me on to take on a few of these companies myself.one of which was VAROOMA whom I took a logbook loan out with and paid back over £6500 on a £3000 loan.I complained about both the charges and interest on a miss selling basis. At first they have rejected my complaint but offered to write off the remaining £220 balance, I then went back and they have now agreed redress of £273 and written off the £220 also.I am not sure whether to accept as I can find very few cases on FOS website and am not sure of my chances of successANY ADVICE PLEASE
