  1. Hi I had issues with Katsea financial solutions in sept this year and many people have unfortunately. I was on a payday loan website that had no charges and myloan now somehow managed to take money out my account without my consent or knowledge for some membership but I later linked Katsea with another ltd company with the same director and complained to Katsea for 7 weeks as initially they refused to give me more than 50% refund even though I deserved full refund. They ignored my complaint and all emails and any telephone calls were met by hostile and unhelpful staff and went to the Financial Ombudsman and they listened and took action on my behalf and got me back all of my money plus a bit extra for the time it took them and stress. The Financial Ombudsman had also received enough complaints from other people with issues with Katsea financial solutions that they were taking things seriously. Katsea financial solutions ltd closely linked to intergrated financial ltd or something like that and they had about 7 or 8 different websites operating within financial areas. My bank were not willing to help in any way and tried to imply I was at fault for the money being taken out my account and kept suggesting I must of made a mistake somewhere and allowed it. I know this info may not be of big help to get your money back potentially and I do totally feel where people are coming from as I got hit by 2 membership companies on same day and all my spare money I had in my account for food and to live on was gone and my bank just didn't seem to care and I had to continue my personal fight against Katsea for nearly 2 months before I had it fully resolved but could of just left it as it caused so much stress and my health and disability is not too good anyway for me and you were dealing with a company a lot of other people have suffered from. My support and compassion goes out to you and the FCA and Financial Ombudsman are aware of these wrong things Katsea and intergrated were doing to people but only just very recently and the issue is ongoing and investigation is aware but may have to wait to see if any action can be done. I had felt like someone had stolen my wallet then tried to give me back just half of the money in there. Please note I wasn't suggesting then Katsea are or were doing anything illegal nor would I suggest or imply the company director I looked into is complicit or involved. Right that's my recent summary of Katsea financial solutions ltd now officially called I think Seakat ltd after ltd company details were changed but Katsea are still fully liable and the company being tackled.

I have a Vanquis credit card and was paying in past but 1 month I didn't check my bank account to see if the direct debit had been paid as usual and phoned Vanquis and their system told me I had £70 available to withdraw I assumed money from direct debit was paid and cleared onto Vanquis as I had nothing available until monthly bill was paid and withdrew money to spend and a few days later I find out I am in bother with no bill paid 3 seperate charges from Vanquis and now over limit and regular charges added. I had major health illness at time and didn't have strength to fight it and Vanquis on phone had told me charges were in my terms and conditions. End up with about over £300 in interest and charges and Vanquis threatening to close account and start legal action so I started paying a fiver a month but very recently I missed one payment as my debit card was lost and card replaced and Vanquis charge me another £12 for missed payment so I start to complain. Within 3 weeks I am getting 2-8 calls a days sometimes 4 in a row on both landline and mobile at 8.15am and all day on different area codes each times and get 2 mobile voicemails lasting about 60 seconds completely silent throughout and then I am £10 behind and passed to Moorcroft debt collection who keep hassling me but for the entire debt over £770 immediately and I am still in bad health and have started my complaint on charges but never had or know how much total debt is and they can't provide me any account details without charging money to provide info and any debt I had in past I just ignored and no contact or nothing done but these 2 are getting too much for me and my health and wanted to raise inital complaint and dispute over unfair charges and situation and they won't give me the proper time to do what I feel I want to do and it's all gone Pete Tong. Sorry if I sound a bit daft but I never had this sort of pressure and contact and demands a nd potential action threatened before and I just need to know if I can do anything and any advice would be very much appreciated and sorry for long thread and any trouble.
  3. I had a financial based company take money out my account without my consent or permission and they only offered me 50% refund for this membership fee. I complained and continued for weeks complaining without any email responses and got advice and support from the Ombudsman and after some communication I had with rogue company the FO contacted them and although the company was unwilling to resolve my issue with me they got the full refund plus some compensation as it took 7 weeks and some stress to get a full refund. At the same time my bank had on 3 occasions given me incorrect information about my debit card and was complaining to them and given a tenner but then got FO back involved who wrote a letter to bank and they decided to give me further compensation for the confusing information they had provided me. I was delighted with them as they listened to me for ages and helped me to try to tackle the complaints I had and my aim was never for extra money I started out complaining out of principle and just wanted to give up at times as it was too stressful and time consuming, but the FO seemed to do what I just wasn't able to do myself and much beyond what I had initially seeked and wished for.
