  1. Update!! It took a while, but the Parliamentary Ombudsman ruled in my favour. Received a small some as compensation, but most importantly a letter form HMCS' Chief Executive apologising for the poor service that I have received. Sometimes the system does work! I would love to see the face of the smug so and so at HMCS who dismissed my complaint in the first place!
  2. Thanks Brigadier2jcs - have been advised to send my complaint directly to Parliamentary Ombudsman, due to the lack of action/response of HMCS. See how that goes...
  3. Hello all, Has anyone encountered this before? I have an CCJ that was satisfied over 2 yearsago, yet showing on my credit reports as unsatisfied. Due to an previous issueregarding this judgement, I contacted HM Courts and Tribunal Service to getthis rectified over two months ago, and have had no response from them. I also have contacted the credit reference agencies, one of them hascorrected this while the other has informed, that the Registry Trust has saidthat the CCJ isn’t satisfied and that I have to contact the local court. I havecontacted the local court who have admitted that the CCJ is satisfied, but isat a loss as to why the Registry Trust wasn’t informed, as this is an automaticprocess. The local court will contact the Registry Trust to correct this. I am rather annoyed as I have had an job offer withdrawn because of thiserror. Any advice, would be most appreciated.
  4. Thanks Erimus1 - I have contacted the CRAs informing them to correct the details.
  5. Hi all, Thanks for the great advice so far... Defaults that are your credit file, are they supposed to come off yourcredit file automatically after the 6 years, or do you have request the creditagency to do it? The reason I ask, is that on my file there are 'some' defaults, but theirdefault dates are pass the six years point... Thanks
  6. Thanks Andy - definately not exceeded the 6 years, so for some reason they failed to register...
  7. Hi Andy, the court hearing was a 'straight forward' one, not a Tomlin or Consent.. Although i will be paying the debt off, its a bit of relief that the CCJ does not show on the registry or the credit reports...
  8. Could be, albeit rather early...
  9. Hi Andy - I need to dig our the paperrwork - but I am unfamilar with Consent or Tomlin orders...But will check though...
  10. Thanks all - Brigadier2jcs - Yes the judgement was pay x amount per month till cleared in around 2008. Yes, I know the amount outstanding and once I am back in work, I plan to make the 'creditor' an offer to settle... Mike770 - I dont wont to reveal the company's name in case they have made an mistake! But as I clue it is credit card company named after a country! LaughingGirl - Yes, to all your questions. I owe the money and going to pay it back, but went to court for protection as I couldnt get the 'creditor' to accept minimum payments...I did indeed check the registry on trustonline and it doesnt show on there either....Which prompted me to ask the question..
  11. Hi, Very new to this, but have been informed that this is good site to getanswers, so here I go! I have recently checked my credit reports from Experian and Equifax and have noticed that a CCJ isn’t shown on them. I have also check the registryonline and it’s not shown on there either. The court case was back in 2009 andI have been paying the judgement amount since. Has this happened to anyone else and what does this mean? Do I have a CCJ or not? Thanks
