Had the dreaded interview this week from the OR very professional and wanted to no everything but also non judgmental and corrected my Budget i had filled in. more or less all over now from the OR's point of view

Thanks for the replies. If it helps anyone, The court process felt more like a rubber stamping exercise. Sometimes you need to see the judge, luckily i did not. The main areas they are interested in, Making sure your forms are correctly filled out Making sure you have sought proper advise and you understand what you asking the court to do Mr OR interview is at the end of the month - this will be the hardest thing i think

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. I'm not a big poster but i visit a couple of times every day to see what i can learn from you guys. I do not no what position i would be in without this forum, it kept the wolves from the door I finally saved up enough cash to declare personal bankruptcy - not an easy decision or one i would recommend without a LOT of research and reading. I called some of my creditors yesterday to inform them, just for my own peace of mind and also to bring some closure to my financial situation. Thanks again

**UPDATE** Recieved letter this morning from CapQuest. They are sending a field agent to my address to serve me with a Bankruptcy petition. However i can avoid such action by calling them to discuss repyment terms. Amount is around £2500 Dont mind being served with it if they are going to go thru with it does this sound familiar to anyone?

Live in a rented house, no assets as such, small car in my wifes name. I owe about 40k, mortgage shortfall from losing our old house, credit cards & loans. Im just looking forward to a fresh start with all my problems gone

Strange you should say that, The provident person who spoke to me on the phone, another debt, couldnt get me off the phone quick enough. Should have the cash by August - should have done it last year but everythime i get a little savinings together something breaks in the house or with the car

Hi, Have received a Statutory Demand from CapQuest. They are threatening Bankruptcy. Anyone have a rough idea if they will follow through on the promise? I desperatley want to go Bankrupt, i am saving like mad for it (£40k debt) Hopefully they may save me the £700 ish it takes

Wow - thanks for the replies!! to be honest im not sure who they are acting for - i refuse to go thru their ID checks. I have a LOT of debt from about 3/4 years ago when problems at home and work made us realise there is more to life than what car you drive and were you live. We are saving up to go bankrupt and im happy to say i will have the funds in another 2 months. Thanks for the replies.

Getting a stream of calls on my work phone with a DCA. really arsey guy on the phone today, talking over me and being really rude. I lost it told him him to F. Off. feel cheesed off that i let him wind me up - im usually calm with them.
