  1. and thanks for that, i really mean that. alot of "hostiles" will start to come out of the woodwork now that things are starting to move forward
  2. thanks I still have a long way to go. This is website number 2 billion and 1 me thinks lol and forum number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx so I know how being a site owner and admin/moderator is like. Some people will come here and to the new site just to stir up trouble, so please folks lets let the admin/mod team deal with the tools while we get the campaign and site sorted for our fantastic take-back of all the things that have been wrongly denied us!
  3. someone posted something that violated the site rules :S it happens Dont worry its only to protect us and CAG from ATOS and other companies As for andy, if you fail your appeal and 6 months is up just bash in a new claim and if they do the same with u again just appeal and then wait hte 6-12 months to get it sorted if they fail you a gain just rinse and repeat and laugh at the ATOS/DWP falling over themselves and the government wheels. It is a shame however that you cannot get the support you need from the ESA support section as that might of helped you out and possibly back to work sooner if its possible or help you to live a less stressed life. Dont let things get to you mate, I'm in a similar position as you atm and I'm going through my second run at ESA
  4. JC, you will get the assessment rate of ESA if you appeal but you must say in your appeal letter that you want your esa to continue whilst you appeal that way you still get ur £65 a week
  5. he can appeal ESA and claim the assessment rate of ESA if you ask them in your appeal letter, otherwise you will be stuck claiming jobseekers and stuck without your appeal
  6. I have read the posts too, maybe libro wasn't as clear as he could of been when he made the posts and I fully understand his intentions of a peaceful person who was put into an extremely difficult situation and he responded in a way as to defend himself. Cool heads are what are needed now I hope libro wont go off without the rest of us next time
  7. Remember folks it is better to not go and visit them like this as it will cause future issues and make our complaints against them look weaker if we do rash things and end up being detained at her majesty's pleasure. The right thing to do is leave them alone for now untill we can stack up so much evidence against them then hand it in to our MP's or the courts of human rights or something like that. Grats to libro for trying to raise awareness of our plight but it lead to something else happening in the wrong light. I know people are upset/angry etc but we must rise above ATOSs pettyness and take the high moral ground.
  8. CAB are awesome people and know alot about alot of legal issues. Talk to your local cab office asap and they will advise you on what you can do. It is always better to turn up at your tribuneral imho or have someone representing you on your behalf. CAB works independantly of any goverment organisations and so have a lot of pull
  9. Congratulations. You have successfully signed the petition: Sack Atos Healthcare Immediately. You are signer #6 [?]
  10. and they said the money that it saves will be pumped back in to provie respite care for diabled children... it is supposed to equate to 8000 week long breaks. I bet the poor disabled kids dont get them!
  11. nice 1 Libro!!!! I have started by making a facebook group and acc and a twitter acc about ESA being well... shoddy! in a few other topics I have posted some ideas of stuff like maybe make a CAG online radio, or contacting some political lobbiests like 38 degrees, or maybe a petition to hand in at no 10 hell I even suggested of saving up our medication empty wrappers/bottles/pill pots etc and then send em all to no.10 or to the Sec of State or we could send em all to ATOSh
  12. lol yeah but just be glad my meds arnt making me be a veg and sleeping in bed like I'm normally am Yay PF, dont give up hope! If people think your a scrounger tell them to stfu as they know nothing! A little bit about me: When I was 7-8 years old, I used to help out at a local produce shop at the weekends and school holidays, till I was about 10 and then I started bording school. When I was 16 I went to college and got kicked out (typical lol), but I then found a job. After that job finished I worked at a fish and chip resturant in my town, after a couple of months i got sacked (if you wanna know just ask). Then I worked for 6 months at a factory maing plastic stuff (I was still only 17 at this time) and I was working till gone 3am and other long shifts. Then I worked at a take-away for about 18 months, then I worked in a supermarket for about 2 years, I quit that job coz of the stress and lack of promotion. I started working at a local corner shop and 3 weeks into that I ended up with a stomach problem for about 2 years :s after that I spent about 6 months looking for a job only to be smacked by a virus and more medical problems.... for 1 year. 6 month of job seeking I end up working at mcdonalds (yay me :s), then about 1 year in my back went.... In all that time I have paid taxes, NI, and other stuff. So my question is now is, why wont the state look after me properly now? Jeez I'm only 27 and every time I have had to be on benefits, when I was ill I got screwed over by ATOS and their medicals, but this time I'm gonna dig my heels in. I'm due to start up a new ESA claim next week. Wonder how things will go this time....
  13. http://www.rpg-collective.com/ESA/not_working_march_2010_final.pdf I have hosted the pdf so that you don't have to download it hope this helps everyone!
  14. hehehe I'm a fast typer and I have like 8 tabs open on firefox
  15. nice 1 pf. can i post it to the facebook group and twitter please?
  16. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid=124620854227294 ok made a new facebook group and acc for it please join if u have facebook And a twitter feed too http://twitter.com/ESAunfit
  17. hiya folks! thanks for the iplayer link I have now watched the show. I wonder what LIBRO did to get locked up. I feel that everyone of us should write to our own mp's and tell them how epicphail ESA is. Also we should send them links to all the horror stories we can find about esa and ATOSH like mike's case and the bbc news stuff and links to the show last night. Also I think we should hold some kind of petition and collect signatures and stuff. We could also ask some groups like 38 Degrees who are always lobbying the government about various issues to assist us in our efforts about ESA. We could also set up a facebook and twitter group about esa too. If need be I can set them up... (gonna do that right now!) best regards! Hendo
  18. yeah it would be great! hmmm what about a CAG online radio? I have run an online radio station before for me and friends so it could be possible for CAG to have 1 and maybe a chatshow too!
  19. nice! I'll be able to see this show on iplayer then? since I live in england and we dont get scottish tv here. I kinda feel that the beeb should show it on bbc1 in all areas!
  20. Hiya hun I was in bed all day yesterday coz of the pain in my back keeping me awake all night monday night Due to the meds I'm on I woke up at 11pm :S I slept for around 14 hours or so mostly in a medication induced sleep which has left me feeling rather crap Hmmm as for a campaining.... I could save up all my tramadol and amitryptline packets and then dump them on the DWP or the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and then say are u sure I'm fit for work? Other than getting a massive petition or maybe an online petition going and/or getting alot of people who have been turned down for esa like me, together and sit outside downing street or somewhere in the center of london to bring notice to the cause of how much of a shame ESA and ATOS are, I have no other ideas atm but will certainly think of some
  21. once again ATOS and the DWP have epically failed the country and the people in it. ESA needs to be reworked completley. Mst notable are the so called "assessments" carried out by atos and the way the wording is on what the definitions are. Lets hope the new government can do something about this and hope it will get things resolved as us poor, sick and disabled people do not need any extra stress putting back our recoveries or making our health worse.
  22. Just read this on the bbc website and thought I would share this with you all. BBC News - New benefit system labelled unfit
