Hi Im having similar difficulties with welcome, I have sent off the SAR to welcome and would like to know how to go firstly about claiming back unlawful charges and then secondly would appreciate any advice on how I may well get all loan set aside - what areas should I look for with regards to this on the agreements? Think that this is an excellent idea. What abour paragon, think there willl be many and indeed Welcome finance is another one.

Please can anyone give me advice on how to proceed with my case against Paragon? I have just had my PPI paid back by them plus the interest after several letters and numerous phone calls and FOS support however I know that the FOS cannot help with the arrangement fee on my loan as this is an unregualted credit agreeement for £50k. I took out my loan in May 2005 for £50k for a mixture of debt consolidation and house renovations and was charged an arrangement fee of £960. There was no other broker involved, all done by paragon for paragon. I was stupid in that i did not realise the implications of adding this to my total credit and so am being charged interest on this sum over 17 years. Does anyone know if there is any official body that i can write to in order to help me?

keep going Night owl. I had similar run around with paragon but got my PPI back plus all interest paid! I sent all my correspondence to their Compliance Dept via recorded delivery and made reference to the FOS from the get go. Make sure you stick to your guns. There coud be grounds for the whole policy possibly to be challenged as it may not have been in your best interests.. Maybe someone with more knowledge could look at this for you at a later date. Good luck and keep fighting. I know how hard it is to deal with them but it is worth it in the end.
