  1. Post 59# I don't need to quote you, but this is whats happening.... it'll get worse, those working will hate those that are not so much that individual circumstances will not matter, it'll be those that are working are = helping the government and those not = a drain on the economy there will huge problems. Mark my words.
  2. Ok, I accept what you're saying Godpikachu, I understand your reply to what I said, and agree to that point. But again, you're still just pointing out what we all see on the way to the job centre. I for one (up my own ar*e) had an excellent job, all the qualifications, years of work to get them, years of 'on the job' experince, and now it all means zilch. But these drug addicts/boozers, how many of them do you know 100% haven't been put in that situation because of the economy? I struggle, I have no money, the only reason I still have £90 spare to spend a week on my kids is because I found CAG, but before that it was going on DCA's and was destroying me. Times are harder than ever. People are getting desperate. I've met people that haven't found CAG that are seriously in trouble and can't cope. How do you know that the people you are refering to aren't victoms of the economy? (they have no money, they give up!) People are losing their houses. Single mothers, well, I know they're the butt of many jokes but times have changed. DCA's love to get theit teeth into them. If they haven't found CAG then their lives are in many cases hell. The point is that every type of class is in trouble, just because I walk past you in the day time when Jeremy Kyle is on TV does not mean I don't want to work. Infact, if that's whatt you think about me, then what about my poor husband? he had an excellent career, but was made redundent because his company was going out. When he walks to the shop with me and the kids on a Monday morning, he gets the most evil looks ever, almost like 'you jobless ****'. Yes there are real people that refuse to work and they play the system, but you need to understand that they are now rare. Yes, really, they are. but one thing this economys trouble has shown is that now decent people are getting drawn into the 'sterotype' mark my words, we are starting to turn on each other as money becomes scarce.
  3. Infact, you've shown your your true self with that opinion. Many people have issues and need help. Many people lose their jobs and need help, yet I don't see you threatning to shoot them because it costs you money?
  4. Godpikachu, I, to an extent, understand your comments. I understand the background to the comments you've made and to a degree I have supported you. What you have done is to sterotype people. You've grouped a 'category' of people and included them into your paragraph. My sister who lost her daughter at 18 months old, who could no longer cope so turned to alcohol who then became alcohol dependent, does not deserve to be taken to a feild and shot because it works out cheaper for you. She needs help. But your attitude is noted.
  5. Just follow the advice here and stick to it as Fredricksons like to try and have things done their way:mad:
  6. It's a consumer credit agreement. It's the signed document with the exact terms of the agreement for the credit. Welcome:) you'll get great advice here
  7. They'll never pick up on that. You'll have lost them at the word 'reading'
  8. They've been ignoring my requests. Useless:mad: Does anyone know how Fredricksons world works? anyway, I hope your next letter gets a result from them:) Happyfeet:)
  9. This is exactly why I'm doing everything possible at the moment to avoid one. Could the biggest problem be E.ON though and not the meters? we get a different electricity slaesman knocking on the 2 door maybe once every month and they all offer lower rates than E.ON which we're with at the moment. The bills are stupidly high! But we can't switch yet because we owe so much:cry:
  10. Just to update.. I'm sending the letter in post #8 Monday, so haven't communicated with Capquest any further yet, but this morning I received 3 seperate letters from them. 1. A response to a harrasment complaint sent at the same time I sent the 'default of request' 20/01/09, just saying they will investigate. 2. A letter in response to 'default of request' saying that they've passed it to the relevant department. (that was it, just that 1 sentence) 3. A letter stating missed payments from the last year that I've been paying them and telling me they don't have to remove my telephone number from their records because it's me who's in default on the account but as they're so nice they will as a favour to me (worded differently) and once they receive a response from Natwest they will forward it to me ( I thought that's what I'd already got:confused:) I assume this is a tactic to confuse me. They're not budging though.
  11. lol:D have you finished fuzzy bobbling bryan carter now FB? I see your location has changed to the worst place on earth:eek:
  12. Hi everyone, I just thought I'd get your thoughts on the default notice that was sent in December. Is it ok?
  13. If it is the dca then just remember if you answer the door they won't try and force their way in or threaten to empty your house of your possesions, they're not baliffs. They will more than likely attempt a verbal charm approach to arange a repayment plan. My sister had a dc at the door using this exact tactic, she handed over the 'revoke licence' letter and told him next time she will report him as a tresspasser and any futher communication will be in writting only. There was no argument, no threats or aggression, no 'foot in the door' or anything bad. He just politley agreed, took the letter and he nor anyone else ever came round again.
  14. brilliant:), thank you cerberusalert. I'll get the letter sent now.
  15. lol Brilliant:D Easy to say when it's not me being harrassed but honestly don't worry too much loobyloo. As others have said they have no powers at all. I can understand it's a hassle that isn't needed though:( If you keep a copy of the 'revoke licence' letter by the door then all you need do is open it and had it over then close the door. No need to engage in conversation other than to confirm they are a dc. Fingers crossed that will be enough for them to report back to the office and give up on the tactic. They keep trying at the moment because they haven't met resistance yet.
  16. I'm sorry the quality is not very good. That's what they say is the credit agreement, but it's just a print out off a computer. At the top right there's no details filled in at all. No credit agreement reference number or anything. Is this acceptable to my request?
  17. yay, result. I've sorted the wonders of photobucket:) OK, that was the cover letter. I'll put the page up in a sec that they claim is all they need to send me. I won't put the T&C pages up as I guess they're all standard, unless somebody thinks they might be worth a look? let me know if I should
  18. Hi cerberusalert, Thank you for the letter:) I'll get that sent out tomorrow, or in a few hours as I've just seen the time:eek:
  19. Hi cerberusalert, it's got it listed under purpose and amount of credit © Insurance loan - £211.00 being the premium payable to insurers for optional loan protector insurance in relation to this agreement against death, sickness, accident and unemployment of Happyfeet24 in accordance with the bank's loan insurance leaflet I'll post a copy tomorrow, it's difficult to explain but there's no copy of anything really just print outs off a computer and then pages that are just photo copys of the type of free advert leaflets you see on the counters at banks. I'll photo the pages tomorrow so you can get a better idea of what they sent because this has got me confused:confused:
  20. Ok, I've confused myself now:confused: I'm either barking up the wrong tree or I've used completely the wrong templates for my situation. The CCA request letter was from the template that was 'This letter is a formal request pursuant to s.77/78 of the consumer credit act 1974' This could be where a went wrong because I then sent a letter when they didn't reply using the template below... I made a formal request for a true signed agreement for the alleged account under consumer credit act 1974 s77/8 The document you are obliged to send me is a true copy of the executed agreement that contained all of the prescribed terms, all other required terms and statutory notices and was signed by both your company and myself as defined in section 61 (1) of CCA 74 and subsequent statutory instruments. But looking at the link no signature is required. So, have I used the wrong template for my situation or have Natwest and Capquest still not provided what they should have done?
  21. I don't want to avoid paying if the debt is mine, but I sent the CCA request to see if CapQuest did have the right to collect from me. Does the reply I've recieved indicate that CapQuest do have the rights to collect?
