Hi Baz, When l spoke they said they did not have systems in place to investigate, l have not been rejected as such, save to say Next denied they were covered by the selling of the PPI because they were not covered by FOS then, they are now. Will wait and see, Cups

Sainsburys Bank Visa Card - think l have paid them in full - almost

Hi, Had a letter the other day, after all this time they are still looking into my complaint, no mention or acknowledgement of CCA request, will make my last payment in January and then tell them to prove the rest of it because they have had more than enough from me. Pity they cannot be reasonable. Cups -
Spoke to Phoenix, they are apparently still working out their PPI complaint procedure and are unsure how long it will take, when l mentioned the 8 week time limit l was told that l could go back to FOS but it wouldn't really help, not overly optimistic now !! Cups

Hi Baz, Nothing yet but it is 8 weeks next week, will try them again and let you know, Cups

Hi Baz, 2012, off the top of my head think it was the start. Did not get a letter from FOS just the Phoenx letter. Think from what the guy said they are doing it in tranches, Cups

Hi, Just thought l would call the Phoenix Group people. They were very pleasant, said they were on the case, mine was one of the ones they were nearly done with and l should hear soon, could not have been nicer. Sounds like there is one guy there doing it all? But he seemed to be doing his best? Will let you know when l hear from them again. Cups

Sainsburys Bank Visa Card - think l have paid them in full - almost

Thanks, sent off a CCA, l have added up the interest for the months they mucked me about and the late payment charges, albeit at the inflated charge but that still means l have given them £700 over those few months but they want £ 1900 so l do not feel bad, in effect l owe them about another £140 and then l am all paid up. I am conscience free on this matter, l have never missed a payment and jumped through hoops, l am going to make those two payments and then stop paying. Thanks for all the advice, will update once l have a response, Cups -

Hi, The account has been closed for years, l have just been blindly paying them for 11 years. I am giving them what they are entitled to, just think the extra £1300 is a p **** take. Thanks, Cups -

Hi, Does anyone have any thoughts on this one ? Cups -
Hi, Just a quick query to see what people think. In 2004 l had a Sainsburys Bank visa debt that was at about £6400. In April that year l asked for a repayment plan as l was in difficulty. It took them until Sept to sort it out and by then the account was showing at £8,300. So in 5 months they had added over £1900 to the account. Looking back l can see that l probably owe them about £7,100 in terms of interest and charges. To date l have paid the. £6,950. I have written to them stating the above, and putting in the rationale behind my reasoning. I have offered two further payments to take it up to what l think l owe. I await a response. I just wondered what people thought, l just want rid of it, would l be justified in stopping payments after these last two payments. Cups

Hi The PPI was added in March 1998, about 2 years after the account was opened. I didn't ask for it, l wouldn't have done. Benloyal - send Next a SAR, bearing in mind l have never had an insurance document at all, l just had an account statement that showed the total PPI paid. Good Luck, Cups
-
No, nothing at all, would imagine it has to be the same as all the others.

Hi Baz Sent off the form just over two weeks ago but not heard anything back yet??? They said they had got my details from FOS and it was about the Next PPI. Maybe they are doing it in waves? Cups
-
No, they said that they had reached a decision on who was responsible, but may take a while for them to get to everyone , Maybe l was just ahead of you in dates etc, Cups

Hi Baz, Got a claim form in the post yesterday from The Phoenix Group, basically asking me to give them the details of the claim. They were passed my details by the FOS. Seems like they are the ones who have been told to pay up if there is a liabilty. I would think they are doing it bit by bit. Cups

Incasso and Tesco,,CCA sent but will still carry on enforcement.

Hi, I complained to Shoosmiths and guess what they actually wrote that Tesco Bank requested hey act on their behalf to recover the debt, Tesco Bank did not tell them about the Tomlin Order. I have sent a complaint to Tesco, await a reply. I can say that l am quite confident that they will not uphold my complaint, at that point they are stuffed and l am going to go to the FOS and anyone else l can think of, a Tesco Bank are a disgrace. Cups -
Hi Baz, Thanks for the information, l will send them an email and see how they respond. Cups
-
Hi Baz Any news on the Next front at your end. I have not heard from the FOS for several months. Seems like they were meant to be deciding this matter last year but nothing has happened. Cups

Hi Andy, It says after 6 months. They never made contact for all those years, so l will write to say that, l think because it was originally RBS / TPF and is now just Tesco Bank that they probably don't have the paperwork. I have all the original stuff and notes / names etc so will just write back to that effect Thanks, Cups -

Hi, Been paying this now for many years and not far off paying in full, but Shoosmiths have just made contact asking for an I and E to see if l can pay more? I cannot, so just tempted to send it back without doing the I and E, and say l cannot increase payment. Any advice? Cups -
Hi Baz, I have now found some statements that show when l opened my account that there was no ppi, they just added it to the account without telling me or asking me. When l spoke to the FOS a while ago l thought it was coming to a close, but it still going on. Cups
