  1. Hi Ireland 1995. Top of the morning to you.. Re write your thread in the LLoyds forum and your answers will be picked up by the LLoyds experts... Basically it means, that the courts are peed off and this speeds it up.. Nearly there.... Good luck
  2. Sorry...I havent actually got a court date yet as i only submitted my claims x3 on Tuesday..I guess i still have that pleasure to come.. Would give it all away though, if it made you better.. Good luck...
  3. Hi Basil...Well done, Great result....I know its not my thread but im gonna be cheeky ... Im calm !! Ive read so much !! And im asking for help !! How the bleeding hell do you get spreadsheets to work with Vista..cheers
  4. The 13th June... I forgive you all in advance for not sending me a birthday card. !!!!! Look all the letters are standard stuff, in fact if i threw mine away you could have the empty Grundon bins.........Just keep making payments as much and as often as you can, If it goes to court, and it wont, you hold all the aces, they have to follow proceedures to protect their interests, i know thats no excuse for acting like pigs, but your probably talking to a student ( no offence )on £7 a year, drafted in to help with the backlog... Be strong.. You WILL be ok....
  5. Firstly move your thread to the bank forum that you are with, I.E. Barclays? NatWest ? that way people will pick your questions up easier, and you can read other peoples stories...Accept the offer as partial payment on the understanding you will pursue the rest thru court if necassary...Open with a new thread and people will give you all the guidance you need, especially the boys with a name like that.. Good luck
  6. HI SAM .. First of all good luck with the back surgery, an ex of mine had major surgery and was fine afterwards, if fact she was so well she kept running.. Anyway im at the court stage myself now and one thing that i have noticed is that it seems to be taking ages to get a court date, and then when you do get it, its still weeks away from the actual date...What i would do is prepare and submit the week before you are admitted, if a court date that does come through is not convenient you can allways ask for a later date..good luck
  7. Hi Kells, Barclays will re write the law if you let them. Dont waste your time on the fone just yet, do however send the next letter the day it is due, its a bit frustrating, but it has to be done. Good luck..
  8. Thank you oneofakind.. Addictive isnt strong enough, i cant get the cable out of my vain. To think just 10 weeks ago i had never even switched on a computer.. I was so thick that when my new computer asked me to sign on... I took it down the dole office.....
  9. Hi kam85 and welcome....open up your thread in the Abbey National forum and people will pick it up easier with as much reassurance and comfort as you need..
  10. Hi... firstly open up a new thread with same info in LLoyds forum, questions will be picked up easier. I would phone/email LLoyds to find out whats going on..Also write accepting cheque as partial settlement and advise that you will be proceeding with court action for the balance. I wouldnt send back or cash the cheque just yet..If they sent anything for you to sign as acceptance as settlement dont sign/send back just yet...Do proceed with court action as per time scale though.. Good luck..
  11. ITS ABSOLUTELY TOSH........Open up your thread in the Barclays forum, and ask the same question there, it will get picked up and answered easier there...
  12. If you want to have a bit of fun with them, you could write to them something along these lines (just parrott the approach and general language they use): Pre Litigation Department You are hereby given notice that your account is currently in default. I think im gonna have a bit more fun at the weekend.. WATCH THIS SPACE....
  13. Sorry to nick your thread mikeh71.. no more i promise.... Thanx saintly 1.. That one dar£en ( only had a pc about 2 months, am i thick or what ) Thanx guys
  14. hi dar£n hows the head maybe you can show me how to offer that link
  15. BARRY Start up a new thread, like like this one, in the Barclays forum, go to opening page and scroll down to Barclays, introduce yourself and tell everybody what stage you are at and what your next question is, you will get so much more advice there as it will be viewed by more people. Dont accept any offer in writing untill you have opened new thread and got advice.
  16. Put all your fears and concerns in writing and send it to Abbey ASAP...If you have to go back to court, ask the judge if you can continue with the original judgement to pay off arrears, if you have kept up payment there will be no probs.. Again ask judge for directions...Abbey will add these charges on to the end of your mortgage and you will be paying interest for rest of term...But you do have time to sort it..Just stand up if front of the big scarey judge ( who is just human like you and i ) and shout WHY Send Abbey a SAR with £10 immediately. I think once you make them realise that they are trying to break the terms of a COURT judgement they will back down..... Try not to worry, they dont actually want your house, they want your money over 25 years..
  17. Couldnt have done it without you rory32 thanx:)
  18. I dont believe Abbey or anybody can alter a court decision, I.E .payment ,without going back to court for a decision first. I dont want to give false hope as im no expert, what i would do however is ask the judge for directions as i dont see how you can possibly be financially liable for their mistakes.... In the meantime start your own claim for unlawful charges..Good luck..
  19. Thats good news that you could clear your arrears but as the timing might be all out of sync, you still need to deal with your mortgage problem as if there was NO money coming back from the bank..Then when it does come thru you can go right ahead and pay off more than agreed...They wont wait for the bank to pay up, you have to act now........
  20. Ditto..Not sure if i have the confidence yet for CI, but am re SAR ing Barclays for beyond 6 years this weekend..
  21. Want to have a laugh ? Barclaycard sold a disputed £ 1,500 debt to R.M.A.....despite being told of the situation they hounded me no end..No probs i have the confidence now. Last week they sent me a calling card saying they would call Tues between 9 & 9.. I sent them an invoice today for £200 because they never turned up..What do you think my chances are of getting paid ???? between zero & zero
  22. Hello earthlings, and bank chairmen.... Finally got my claim into court yesterday Barclays 1 £ 2,230.27p Barclays 2 £ 1,133.07p Nastywest £ 1,508.66p I am going after barclaycard 1 & 2 now £2k (ish) Then its "the big one" Barclays 2, beyond 6 years. My old business account. WOW are there some charges on this one. Then its back to Barclays 1, again 17 years...... In the mean time, as im having so much fun i think i will drop GMAC, I GROUP, Birmingham Midshires, and Barclays Mortgages a S.A.R. Will check out Bristow and Sutors £ 2,000 bailiff fees over the last 4 years as well. Wish me luck !!! Might just upgrade my holiday tent to a 5 star hotel
  23. start a new thread in LLoyds forum.. & Nationwide... then just go right ahead and ask as many questions as you want GOOD LUCK It is a good idea to state what stage/s you are at, then you will get the best response.
  24. Just a word of comfort. Martin Lewis was on radio pledging £ 100,000 ( one hundred thousand pounds ) to finance an appeal on behalf of Berwick.. I think you will be fine.. Just be patient and follow the guidlines...Good luck... Dont forget to move to LLoyds forum..
  25. No need.. just follow step by step instructions and add all new charges when you submitt your court claim..Done mine only yesterday X3... You will prob need more help along the way so it might help if you move/start new post in Barclays forum..There are so many helpfull people there...Good luck...
